Use it for teaching which requires clip to clip. After discussing a clip it is slow moving to the next screen. Controls are awkward..

Closed caption (CC) information is not available from a cable set-top box, satellite receiver, DVD player, or Blu-ray Disc® (BD) player connected to the TV using an HDMI® cable. When using this type of connection, use the subtitle feature of the source device instead of the CC of the TV or connect the source device to the television using a component or composite video cable. CC is only supported when using an analog output that is 480i. NOTE: Using a component video connection will only work if the output setting is set to 480i. -Oscar.

If you want to play non-Bluray movies, this would be a good fit.

The Sony DVD player that I had to purchase -- since the new HID TV I bought does not have a built-in DVD player -- will play only commercially produced DVDs. It will not play any of those I created myself. Those I now have to watch on my computer. Very frustrating and irritating.

Hope this cartridge lasts longer than last one

I hardly ever print in color and the first time I did it barely printed in yellow & informed me I was low on ink.

Connections not compatible with tv. Remote control did not have any instructions on how to use. Push buttons on player very small. Would not recommend unit to anyone regardless of price. Seller outlet personnel not able to address problem.

I created "home made" videos using AShampoo Movie Maker Pro and Photoshop and burned it on DVD -R, DVD +R - nothing worked, then got the message - "Playback prohibited by area limitations" However, my homemade videos plays from my desktop and laptop computers. Bottom line - this device has issues with regionalization. Not recommended
