I had it for barely six months and all of a sudden I started having issues with it's HDMI connection. I've taken it out and moved the cord to different HDMI ports multiple times only to have it not register in the TV and when it does, it either can't be touched or it will just stop working again.

I'm very happy with my new DVD Player. Performs well.

This DVD does it's job well enough. Nothing outstanding. Plays my DVDs that's all I needed it to do.

It was cheap and it does the job, have to clean all dvds before putting them in or they get stuck.

It's not bluray but inexpensive. Biggest drawback is how loud the motor for the spinnin of the DVD. It is audible from the couch.

I just bought this DVD player, as my old one stopped working. I was set to give 5 stars, but it's noisy when playing disc's. I don't know if that's normal operation.

This is the lowest priced DVD player in the store and you get what you pay for. If you understand that you will be fine with this product.

Supposed to be region-free but failed to play some DVD from Japan.

Worked fine for less than a month and now, it keeps telling me all my brand new DVD’s are all “Dirty”, even ones that are right out of the box and never played........seriously?? Not what I would have expected after less than a month of use.

had a little trouble at initial install but then it played with no problem afterwards.

easy set up, my children can use it easily without needing help

This is my very first DVD Player and I am also not very tech savvy as I am 68 years old. Took me over 5 days to work up the courage to set it up. And it really was easy to do because the salesman at Best Buy was very patient and kind in explaining everything I needed to do. I also bought a HDMI cable instead of using the cable that comes with this player. The set up was really very easy and I also advise anyone else interested in purchasing this item or any DVD player to (1) keep the TV off while setting it up and (2) do NOT place the DVD player on top or under the cable box. That was really stressed to me to avoid any possible problems. The DVDs play beautifully and are in full color and the remote is easy to use. Great player especially for the price. Highly recommend.

Sony products used to be known for their high-quality. Clearly those days are long gone. Despite being a very well reviewed DVD player, this product is garbage. After driving to the store to pick it up, I got it home and the door to the DVD player won’t even open. It’s made of cheap plastic and the workmanship is horrible. I won’t be buying Sony products in the future.

OK for the money, but remote is near useless in finding anything.

OK. Should include a 4 ft. HDMI cable. I don't use the VGA cables.

Probably great buy but not as easy to connect as I thought. Have to get someone to help me.
