||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Did not play my DVD photos or my CD photos as stated the format kept saying error I purchased this just for that purpose not only that the red white and yellow plugs that go into your TV only works for old TVs all new televisions are different on the back of the TV I just so happen to have a 19 inch TV put away do I had to hook OT up and try the DVD player needless to say I was very disappointed before I purchased this i chatted with a sales rep to ask would this play my photo dvds and cds he said yes the return was easy and got my credit immediately

The HD Upconversion however, was disappointing. I played a new DVD of a 90's movie I got for Christmas and I felt like I was watching a VHS tape. It's FINE but don't expect HD quality.

The adapter cables cost more than this thing. Waste of $ in my opinion.

As soon as the plugged it in the first time, it started playing, then stopped, and repeated this over and over. It played for about 2 secs and then stopped and so on. It never played continuously, so not sure why it did this. I googled it, but couldn't find out what I could do differently, so I plan to return it.

Play mode is ok and is clear but still has to be enabled several times before it “takes”. Worst “Sony” I’ve ever owned.

Returned the DVD player. Didn't feel I should have to pay extra for the correct cord. Sales rep should have made the DVD player workable.
