You would assume that the name Sony all the products are very good. That's not the case for this product the player would not read a DVD or CD when you try to play it.

Does not work with international DVDs

DVD got stuck in tray and spent an hour un-plugging and plugging it back in. Seems very basic. I bought the 6700 Blu Ray and I took the 2 year protection plan. The 6700 began to act up after a month. If I didn't have the protection plan and it was after 15 days I would have been screwed. Not a very good machine and no way to change the picture size.

It wouldn't load (wouldn't play) the DVD, I tried several, even a brand new one still in the shrink wrap--nothing worked. This DVD is a piece of JUNK, try something else... :(
