Its hard to write a review on this product I've only had it for three weeks. I purchased the Sharp Blue Ray and had to bring it back. That's when i up graded to the Sony. Love it so far.

Needed a new DVD player did not want to spend much money did some research read some reviews settled on this player ordered it on web site had it the next day so easy to hook up I only used it one time played my old DVD everything worked fine if any problems come up I will update review.

Needed to replace a VERY old DVD player and chose this based on reviews and price. Not interested in BluRay, so I wanted something simple. This was super easy to install. I've been using it for about six months, and there have been no problems. Does exactly what it's supposed to do when it's supposed to do it.

I am more than happy with this DVD player! I'm using the HDMI connection and the picture is very crisp and crystal clear. I'm also using an Insignia soundbar with my digital TV and the sound is comparable to the theater, seriously!! You have the choice of audio output with this DVD player and I have it on Dolby 5.0

It does its job pretty well. Although it isn’t compatible with blu-ray, it does play dvds.

Our children's playroom is used constantly for watching movies and we had purchased one DVD player that ended up breaking down within a couple of months, decided to buy a quality DVD player, and we have had no issues with the one e bought through Best Buy.

This seems to be a very good DVD player. I get movies from the library and they sometimes skip or stop. I’m pretty sure it’s the movies and not the player. Good price.

A great basic player that is very easy to work with. May not be ultra HD but it is just fine for the large amount of lower def content out there.

Very neat thing, works smoothly, picture is clear, great looks. I was glad to figure out how to play some old "full-screen" DVD's without everyone looking fat. It did take me a bit of digging through the manual and options on the menu. Minus one star for it not being able to play some DVD's bought abroad. LG did that without any problem, but Sony appears to be more region-limited. But overall great value for the price.
