||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This appears to be the 'latest' basic HDDVD player available at my Best Buy with the reputable Sony name, and promising HDMI hookup, of course more expensive than the cheaper brands. You do not get an HDMI cable included in the box, so I had to return trip to Best Buy to get a good one, that was the negative part of this purchase.
