He has collected so many DVDs throughout his life. My father is stuck in the DVD ages and does not want to upgrade to the Blurays so this is awesome. This DVD with HD converter does a great job upping the quality of the videos/movies/shows he watches.

Excellent Buy for the Money

Its upconversion capability amazed me when I played some DVDs that I had previously burned old home video to (1987-1994.) The output looked much better on the 4K Samsung than it ever had on my older Samsung HD TV.

To Watch Shows with the Grandchildren

Yes, we had an old model TV. Anyway, each summer our grandchildren stay several weeks with us and they like to select DVD movies from the library to watch. ~ This little player suits the bill and fits nicely on the shelf above the TV. PERFECT!
