Purchased this player so my wife could use to view her yoga DVDs. Set up was easy and it works well. Remote was easy to use with Sony Smart TV.

We bought this for an older 42 inch flat screen tv. It was needed to play hours and hours of bird and other dvds for our fur-babies. It has been a success and even improved the video on many of our older dvds. We have happy kitties... so we are very happy with this purchase. Highly recommend.

Good machine- but wished I had upgraded to a blue ray capable machine.

DVD players are hard to come by nowadays but if you need one, this is a good one. it includes upconversion which helps with picture quality on our large TVs as well as an HDMI output. A lot of basic DVD players don't upconvert and don't have HDMI outputs so avoid those if you need one for your HDTV.

Needed a basic player as I don't have blue rays. Set up easy, works well, quality is very good. No problems and sales staff were very helpful.

When my old DVD in my man cave went down, and I found this Sony with upconversion, I knew it had to be what I needed. I need a DVD player so some of the homemade DVD+RW I have made will play back without edits being skewed. This was beyond my expectations.
