Watched the DVD, encountered no problems. Will probably keep the player hooked up in case we come across another DVD whose content isn't available for streaming. Glad we ordered this product!

We were looking for quality and ease of use. This provided her with both. Her caretakers have enjoyed sharing their video libraries with her. She has thoroughly enjoyed passing an afternoon away with a good movie.

The remote is a nice size and easy to use. I like that the rewind function can be faster than on any other DVD player I have owned. This is a nice reasonableness priced machine.

When she moved to an apartment she wanted another one for her bedroom. They both worked perfect. We recently remodeled a bedroom and purchased a 3rd DVD player for that room and it is working very well. No complaints.

I am generally pleased but will note that there are a lot of cheaper DVD models that are all region, while this is only region 1. There was an unwelcome change when using the remote. My previous player would display both the elapsed playing time and the time remaining with a single tough of the display button on the remote; for some reason, the new version no longer displays the remaining time. On some DVD's I can check the remaining time by using the time/text button, but that varies depending on the DVD, and it takes 4 touches on the button to display the elapsed and remaining time on each scene as well as for the total disk.

Connecting Audio & Video cable needs to be a little bit longer, optional hook up is available Controller is easy to use, overall the DVD quality is good. I give it an excellent rating.

This model is slim, takes of little space and works perfectly.

However I do have a Sony DVD player that I bought from Best Buy a few years ago, and I love it!!! I believe this new one is either the same as the one I bought a few years ago, or an upgraded version of it.

It's priced very reasonably, and is a wonderful back-up to a Blu-ray player. Definitely a great value for the money!
