After having a BluRay DVD which continually was a problem and finally wouldn't even turn on, decided to get a DVD player that did just that. Got this one because it had HDMI (already had a cord for the BluRay for better picture quality. Researched online and the sales rep was very helpful.

Arrived earlier than expected. Packaged really well. DVD player is in excellent condition and works great. Picture is crystal clear! Couldn't be happier. Thanks Best Buy!

I purchased it for a Mothers Day gift, Mom wanted a small, simple unit, I wanted a quality piece. The Sony fit the bill with flying colors! I have always been a fan of Sony electronics, so this was the perfect fit. My Mom loved it, and the price was right!

Great basic DVD player. Easy setup, affordable, good quality construction.

I bought a cheap Chinese player that never worked, so I sent it back and got this Sony. It worked great from the start and was easy to set up. I wish it had a counter on the front to let me know where I am on DVD's, but otherwise it is fine.

The Sony DVD Player plays my DVD's as sold for, and the picture looks great.

I connected the dvd player to my Roku tv via an hdmi cable and then connected the power cord. When I turned on the tv, it immediately recognized the dvd player and created a channel for it. I can access the dvd player by turning it on and then choosing the channel for it, just like I would for Netflix, etc. i use the dvd player remote controller for playing the dvd, turning the dvd player on and off, and so forth. Very pleased with how easy this was to connect and use.

Only had it a couple of weeks. No issues. As advertised. It is small, lightweight and fits most anywhere. Very pleased with is so far. I had no need for a Blue Ray type of player so this works great.

Does just what it's supposed to, at an affordable price.

Its nice and small so it fits nicely under the TV. It works. The buttons on the front don't have a good feel so its hard to tell if you pressed it or not.

I'm very pleased with this Sony DVD player. It can't be beat for the price and the HD feature provides great picture quality.

It seems this player is a little dated, but it was a good price! The remote is a little complicated, but once you figure out how to use it, you won't have any trouble. Setup was easy; all I had to do was plug in the HDMI cord.

Good DVD for the price. I needed something I could unhook fast and take on vacation. Needed HDMI connections and a regular 3wire hook up. Suits my needs. Great price.. If your looking for top of the line picture etc. this probably is not for you.

So far so good, the player works very well with all the CDs, had a problem with the new were version it was cheaper, you get what you pay for, the price wasn’t too bad on this, very happy with the sleek look, also it’s small enough to fit nicely in my tractor trailer

Replaced older DVD player. The upscale is great and old dvds look better on this player. We also have a Sony receiver and it recognizes this player with no problems.

The Sony DVD Player was just what I wanted - a machine to play DVDs with no fancy bells or whistles. I wish it had a counter display so I knew where it was in a movie, but it's BASIC - you can't have everything.

Works good, it does its job for the price. It’s nothing fancy but is great for kids and rvs.
