It was so reasonably priced that I purchased it right away. It's a wonderful dvd player if you're not insistant on a blue ray unit. It has everything you need.

They love it and it plays every DVD we put into it with no problems. We have only had it for months but nice to have a quality piece of electronics that I don't have to return! This is a pretty standard DVD player. My last Sony DVD player lasted for years. So, hope this one does too. You will probably need a HDMI cable. I had one already, so this worked.

The pictures are superb and the sound quality is just as fantastic. It is great as a second DVD player or if you need to upgrade your original one the price can't be beat. Well Done Sony .... no complaints from this Satisfied customer.

One thing that is lacking is that no HDMI cable was included in the package. I have to purchase that separately. In this day and age with smart TVs, this cable should be standard issue with all DVD players. Otherwise, the item is great.
