I would never have expected the treatment from BestBuy. Very amateur not what was expected.

I also own Tamron 18-200, and so far the sharpness and auto focus performance is marginally better. I like that lens is light, and balances well on the camera body! I've not had a chance for video yet but will update with that later!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a versatile lens. And it is my favorite lens. I have about 7 lenses and this is a real go to one. It is sharp and fast. Zoom is a plus. If ou only own 2 or 3 lenses, this should be one of them.

I would recommend this to a friendall-in-one "GO TO" lens. PERIOD
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.18-105 makes it wide and tight enough on the zoom to take care of many daily shooter needs. f4 won't give you the deep bokeh but the fact that it's constant across the zoom range is incredibly valuable. For this price point - don't delay just get it

It's super sharp, lets in quite a lot of light, and the range of zoom is about perfect on my a6000. I used this on vacation at Disney World, and it's the perfect walk-around/vacation lens. I actually sold the kit lens and the 55-210 zoom lens in favor of using this, and the 50mm f/1.8 full time. Highly recommended.

The auto focus barely makes any noise making it perfect for video and the fact that the lens does all the zooming inside it makes this the perfect zoom lens for a gimbal
