I wanted to get a lens where I didn't have to be exchanging; so after many reviews and videos watched I decided to go for this one and I couldn't be happier, image quality on stills and videos are great. I definitely recommend this lens.

I recently bought this lens after watching and reading tons of reviews. If you need a still lens or do video this lens is perfect! True to the G series this is an amazing lens and at $599 (currently priced) you cant get much better.

Too big for my a5100. Had to return it. Would be perfect for a6xxx series. Great all around lens. My copy was sharp.

I have lots of lenses for my Sony a6500. But for video and photos this lens has always been my favorite. It's so sharp it will continue to blow your mind. The Auto focus is sharp and even though it's not as fast as a sigma, you can still take Astro photography with it!

This is the lens that is on my Sony now. It handles most distances that I need. I would replace with a longer lens for sports or distances. The larger lens also helps with photo quality The reason for a four and not a five: there is a focus ring, a zoom ring and a button for electronic zoom Also, it is not especially great in low light... Purchased this so that I could just carry only one lense. It is good and it captures great images even in the dark. Downside is you can’t use your stock flash because it will create a shadow effect. It potrudes. Use an external flash instead. Bought the Sony one and it is good.

Second time purchasing this lens. After losing the first one. This is one of the best budget lens for APSC cameras.

I took this lense along with me to shoot my son's USHL Ice Hockey Combine games over the weekend. The lense is tack sharp and great for video as long as the lighting is good. I love this lense but it could certainly benefit from a slightly faster F-stop. The same is true for portraits, I love the sharpness, can even live with the edge softness. If you are shooting or video taping in bright light, you will be amazed and the results. Happy shooting!

This lens is a good beginner lens, but if you want to get serious into photography, I advice you buy a more higher quality lens like a 70-200 2.8, or a 24-70 2.8 depending on what you want to shoot, but for beginners, the value is in the price.

I like how smooth the zoom feature works whether with the switch and especially the manual option. The fact that everything is done internally is impressive. Still learning to use, but early results are satisfying.

Honestly the best part about this lenses it makes me look like a professional and yet it is so user-friendly absolute zero learning curve. Sun is always been tops in my book but this lens is by far The Best of Both Worlds simple affordable easy to use.

I purchased this lense for my Sony a6500 and it's perfect. Takes quality pictures and videos. I've recently taken it on the road for a cross country trip and I feel like it gave me a great range. We also use it for vlogging and the videos are top notch.

Clean lens that has been capturing great photos since I received it. Great zoom and works great with my Sony A6400. I have done still and action pictures with ease. Very happy with it.

The SOny E PZ 18-105 lens is exactly what you need. The powered zoom looks great on video, keeping autofous steady and the SteadyShot image stabilization is excellent for hand held video. Photos look good and sharp, but I use it mostly for video.

If i'm out and about and need 1 lens to do everything from pictures and videos, this is the lens to go to. It covers pretty much all the angles I need and for videos -- it's has a good OSS if your A6 or A7 has no IBIS.

Not the best in low light being a constant f4 but overall great lens. Love the power zoom!

I am beyond blessed to be able to afford this magnificent lens, it took my production company from here to HERE, I am getting way more clients than ever after they see my work. It is a hefty price but it is definitely worth the investment l

I just bought a Sony Alpha 6300 and I had to get a nice all around lens. I first bought a prime lens (that I absolutely love) and I did my research for an affordable, all around lens, and this one showed up. I bought it and was not disappointed!

Great range and will get the job done for any action shots!
