Amazing picture output

I have had this for almost 3 months and i must confess i realy enjoy shooting videos and even unplanned picture eith it. The focal point and background blur is amazing. Outperformed my expectations with extra crisp and sharp picture quality. It is easy smooth to mount and take off my sony zv e10 camera. Honestly i will recommend anyone to buy this for that cool price. I wanna get an extra just in case before the price shoots up.

Well… You get what you pay for

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start this off by saying this is NOT the worst lens I’ve ever used, not at all. If you’re on a budget or just starting out and you absolutely need a cheap prime lens then this is for you, otherwise, steer clear from this one. The picture qualtiy is okay but not great. The lens has a lot of aberration around edges. Having the bokeh at a low price is nice however. I returned this lens because I wasnt happy with it, I would have also liked to have used this for video but this is not the OSS varrient meaning it doesnt have any kind of stablization. It wasn’t too bad for photos but for video it was unusable. They do have a OSS version which costs $100 more but I would save up for a better quality lens. I was slightly dissapointed with Sony on this one just because it has no quality aspects to it, usually their products have at least one or two things good about them.

It took decent photos. Focus was a little off and depth of field wasnt great. I could have received a detective lens; but overall decent lens.

Good for the price!

Paired it with my Sony A7iii and it takes very crisp images. I do a lot of various types of photography from portraits to automotive. Very versatile. It’s going to be mostly preference between the 50 and an 85mm and based on your needs. I say well worth it.

This lens should be in every photographer's kit. Lightweight and versatile, it does well in most all lighting situations, outdoor events and indoor closeups. Quiet and a value at its price point. Great nifty fifty

Outstanding Value

I got it for 200 bucks on Black Friday, and it is by far the best impulse purchase I've ever bought. The autofocus is loud, and not the best I've seen. But the quality is top notch. The photos that this thing takes are outstanding.
