Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The optics are sharp and the auto-focus surprisingly decent for an older lens, however the chromatic aberration was a bit of a nuisance for me and the loud focusing motors are a no go for video shooters(if you are mainly a stills shooter, you can live with it). Still, it’s optical performance is surprisingly well considering the age and price of the lens.

Not the best quality

I think this product should be worked on and maybe upgraded.

Good budget lens

Theres better out there but this will work for someone on a budget. Also works as an everyday lens if you dont want to drop a ton of money on an expensive lens that may get damaged. Focus breathing is less than ideal for video.

Nice budget lens for portrait

Nice sharp lens and nice out of focus areas when you want that soft bokeh background. I use it mainly for nature photography. All in all a great lens for the price.

Excellent starter lens
