Great inexpensive lens. Worth every penny.

They haven't heard my older low end lenses. While it is noisier than my high end lenses, it's not THAT bad. It takes beautiful pictures on a low budget. Is it as good as the same high end lens across all apertures? No. Is it still pretty good? Yes. Am I glad I bought it? Yes.

One of the best full frame lenses

You'll go through lots of different lenses but you'll always want to keep this around. "Zoom" with your feet you can use this for street, portrait & even landscape. Not bad for macro (not great, either).

I used to have a 6D mark ii, paired with the 50mm 1.8, i shot ALL my portraits on that lens and the quality was immaculate however, this one is better. Many said but the zeiss one, however for instagram photos, for prints for people, this does the job and more.

I loved the Nikon version, so figured this was a no brainer. And, it performs much better than the Nikon version did. I love this lens. It's not the sharpest glass in the world, or the fastest, but it is reliable and affordable and does really well in low light.

I was recommended this lens from a friend and after testing it out in a Best Buy store, I bought it that same day. I am not only impressed with the photo quality, but this lens does amazing things with video. Highly recommend.
