I like the sharp images that this lens captured...however, I find that it some times is a bit slow to focus. But at the price point offered, I guess this is a trade off...,

If you want a lens for better portraits and better focal points, this is the way to go.

Sony make a such wonderful lens in such low price, it is sharp and light compact. Con. focus a bit slow, but not that bad if you are slow shooter

Really sharp even may be sharpest than more Sony expensive lenses, little distortion but not that much, cheapest FE Sony lens . But very good

I got it to do effective portraits and was sold on the nice handling of the out focus background or bokeh(?). In any case, great value and only tries one picture and love it.

Not I’m the best quality for professionals but takes great pics and videos for the everyday shooter

It's a wonderful addition to an amazing camera. It takes professional looking pictures even for those of us not yet at the professional level.

I should have bought this when I got the camera a year ago this is by far the best purchase I have made in my photography kit.

While not as cheap as Canon’s nifty fifty, it’s a solid grab if you have canon or Nikon glass and you want a native Sony lens

Purchased this lense to take portraits on my Sony a6000. The quality is amazing. Also impressed with the auto focus and background blur.

I like this lense. With it I am able to take excellent portion pictures. Can’t wait to start using it this summer and spring.

lightweight and very nice. ts barrel is sturdy polycarbonate and its lens mount is metal —it doesn't feel like a cheap lens.

This lens is very crisp and is a reasonably fast, good starter kit lens with decent bokeh.

Very inexpensive for the images it delivers, plus that pretty large aperture. The focus is a bit slow, with a pretty loud motor for focusing. The focus motor noise makes it unsuitable for video, fine for stills though.

I haven't shoot a lot but the times that i did shoot some picture i like it Exceeded my expectations I used with my sony A3000

Great for the price. A very good addition to the a 7 3 camera. Would definitely recommend to a friend or any one

Perfect for portraits with a blurry background. You have to be very far away from subject because the lens is very zoomed in.

This works great with my camera. It helps you capture great pictures. I made lovely memories while on vacation.

Love the lens. I haven’t played with it enough. Thank just the few pictures I have taken are great! I’m still learning
