Cons- 1. Makes a lot of gear noise. 2. Does not focus smoothly. 3. Very expensive, and not worth it. It behaves more like the Canon's low end 50mm for $125; the nifty fifty, as it is called. Pros- 1. It is compatible with the Sony camera, and retains all its features like eye detection and auto focus, etc. Not really a plus point, since for that price it better be!!!

Good lens, takes great shots but you need to have a lot of space to take a nice indoor shot. Good for outdoor portraits. Good price for a starter prime lens.

This allow my pics to be much wider. The original is great. Just doing different types of photography.

Usually single F stop lenses are sharper than zooms and this is no exception. It's easy to use and produces an accurate photo.

You get what you pay for. Good first lens but the auto focus is a little sluggish compared to my 85 1.8

For a basic lens not very useful. I feel Nikon has a better lens for their starter kits. I expected more from it.

Great lens for a beginner, my first prime lens, nice open lens let's alot of light in and price just right.

This lens is alright, spend the extra $50 and get the other 50mm f1.8 as it is sharper and produces better low light quality.

Very slow auto focus. And the sound it makes while focusing is too loud. Skip this one unless you are on a tight budget

Since this is the only cheaper option I bought this it’s worst I believe so for. Pls update latest firmware to get better result and use with a7iii

This 50mm prime lens is a good buy for the price but does lack focus speeds. I tend to find that he hunts for focus but over is a good lens if you are patient with it.

Use this to mostly shoot videos and some stills, but all around amazing depth, clarity, etc. small lens but very powerful

this 50mm lens can takes really sharp images. A good thing about this lens is f/1.8.

I decided to buy an extra lens for my camera to zoom in on some far away areas. This works great.

Highly reccommend, only downside is how its a little slow on focusing, but otherwise great lens for FE owners

I loved this camera lens. Got great shots of the outdoors.

Must have for any full frame e mount camera. Amazing shots and amazing bokeh. Works wel for action shooting as well
