Affordable lens between 35 and 85mm

Focus Has Hyperactivity Disorder

I have to return this lens back because the focus motor buzzes away moving the focus back and forth without regard that things are fine and then they are not. If you freeze, it might settle down, and if you twitch anything, it is back to buzz-shift-buzz-shift. This is an annoying inconvenience.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I put this lens through its paces today. This lens delivers sharp results throughout the focal range. I'm not certain what some reviewers are doing, but focus with this lens on my a6000, was very good and spot on. I shot outside in full sun, indoors, with both natural and artificial light, outside during the golden hour, blue hour, and after astronomical twilight. Focus was as I expected it to be, fast and accurate. At $199 this lens is a good buy, get it, get out and shoot, and enjoy!
