I cant give 5 stars uet because i noticed a lot of noise when focusing so im going to play with it some more screaming deal though.

It's the cheapest great quality prime lens Sony has ever released, producing crisp and clear photos with a classic bokeh look. The autofocus is fast and accurate, and the lens is compact and lightweight. Though it can be a bit noisy when focusing, it's a small price to pay for the excellent stills. This may be the niftiest fifty I've ever owned!

Images look clear, and color is great. A good budget lens. It does have a plastic body, but the mounting ring is metal and the connection, to the camera body, is very snug, and solid. If you look around the net, for reviews, you will find some that trash the auto focus functionality. It may be a quick bit slower than a lens costing 4 to 10 times as much, but, on a Sony camera, the described problem can be fixed with a simple firmware upgrade to your camera. A good buy, good price, good pictures.

Amazing picture output

I have had this for almost 3 months and i must confess i realy enjoy shooting videos and even unplanned picture eith it. The focal point and background blur is amazing. Outperformed my expectations with extra crisp and sharp picture quality. It is easy smooth to mount and take off my sony zv e10 camera. Honestly i will recommend anyone to buy this for that cool price. I wanna get an extra just in case before the price shoots up.

I got it for 200 bucks on Black Friday, and it is by far the best impulse purchase I've ever bought. The autofocus is loud, and not the best I've seen. But the quality is top notch. The photos that this thing takes are outstanding.
