Inexpensive Nifty Fifty

I use this to take shot of products. This is an inexpensive way to see what a difference switching lenses actually does. Also if later you decide to buy a more expensive 50mm, this will make you appreciate the new one and why you spending more money.

I know it’s rather inexpensive, but I’ve tried other ones that I have been able to pick up for less than $100, and they are much sharper than this lens. However, I will say that I absolutely love this lens. It works perfectly with my Sony Nex F3, I think that’s what camera I have. The sharpness is a bit hazy when you are at f/1.8-2.8, but after that, the image quality has blown me away.

Best budget nifty fifty lens for sony ecosystem. These lens struggle a lot in low light to autofocus, but can’t really complain for the price and pictures it delivers are stunning.

I’ve had several pieces of glass that are great for uses and occasions, and really shine in one way or another. This lens is a perfect one-and-done-r. You can take this thing anywhere and be happy as can be with it. Landscapes, night out with friends, sunsets on the lake, weekend trip to NYC, vacation at the beach, wildlife reservation/zoo, anything. Add this to your collection, and you’ll never wanna take it off.

Worth the money

Package came in good quality and lens was perfect

Great lens for the price

It'll get you those nice and blurry backgrounds, for photo I think the lens is worth the price, it does however tend to hunt for focus a bit and it is a little loud, but it should be fine for photo. i probably wouldn't recommend this for video though.

Bokeh orbs are basically ovals with points everywhere except the center. Didnt expect this lens to be perfect though. Bought it for the very small size, light weight and practice without a zoom lens. I recommend if you are learning like myself, and want to explore photography without destroying your bank account.

An adorable, quality, entry level 50mm lens. I have used it quite a bit now and very much prefer it over yet kit lens I got with my camera, to the point that I will use it even when it's less convenient than my variable zoom lens.
