Decent for Photos, bad for video.

Its basically not usable for video because of how hard the motor has to work to keep up with a subject and the motor can be heared from the internal mic AND hotshoe shotgun mics. If youre just doing photos, maybe portraits and product photography, then its fine. Im pretty sure i wont use this for anything other than a backup lens though.

This might have a slow focus motor but if you know how to work around it, it’s ni problem at all. Love the photos this lens can make.

This is the perfect travel sized lens for my set up. I usually run two massive lenses that can get heavy and costly if broken. This nifty fifty lens is the perfect prime lens to get any shot I need when I do not have my usual art lenses available.

Great budget prime

I read and watched reviews of this lens and was a little weary of it. I was pleasantly surprised by it. One thing I will say that is a bummer is that the autofocus isnt as great as some of my other lenses. Wish it was a little faster but for $200 i really cant complain.

If you need anything more than that, you'd have to just lower your expectations.

I plan on getting the Sigma or G master lens next. But this lens has a really good depth of field. Can work in low light. The auto focus is fast and somewhat quite when it’s focusing. I’ve created some amazing footage and taken dope pictures with this lens.

Very capable lens!

Super Solid Prime Lens
