    50mm is a good lens for capturing that Bocca affect. The subject is super detailed while blur makes you concentrate on subject. Too close though will make auto focus little trippy.

    I purchased this lens to use for video interviews. I love it. It took me a little while to get used to a fixed lens but after this purchase, I am looking at another focal length fixed zoom lens.

    Solid lens for the price. This isn't gonna win any awards or knock your socks off, but it's a great budget lens and a solid upgrade from kit lens. For the price it really can't be beat

    The optics are sharp and the auto-focus surprisingly decent for an older lens, however the chromatic aberration was a bit of a nuisance for me and the loud focusing motors are a no go for video shooters(if you are mainly a stills shooter, you can live with it). Still, it’s optical performance is surprisingly well considering the age and price of the lens.

    This a great budget lens for general photos and great for portraits. This lens takes good quality pictures and will work great with full frame cameras. Simple to operate. One negative for me was that focus motor is a little to loud for my taste when focusing but other that’s that great lens.

    This lens is so cheap considering how good it is. Nifty Fifty is a must! It’s also very lightweight which helps with gimbals for video.

    Well I was quite surprised. this lens was much better than what I expected. Especially for the price point ,although it is sony's lowest price lens the Value cannot beat. The pictures turned out better then I have expected this is a must have to put in your bag. it is like weather here doing full frame compact
