    Love the lens. I feel like I’m shooting with my favorite 35mm film camera. I haven’t had a chance to compare it to the Zeiss lens but for the price, it is wonderful.

    The focal length of this camera is great. 50mm is excellent for street photography, and wide enough for some landscape. Perfect lens to get close to subjects too. Very impressed.

    Great cheap lens for a sony e mount. Good low light sensitivity Made of mostly plastic so we will see how durable it is

    The 50mm should be in every photographer and videographer’s Arsenal. This is great lens for a great price. Sony lenses can carry an absorbent cost but not the case with the “nifty 50”

    We’ve used this a few times this month. Idk if the images are so good because of the camera or the lens or both. The lens is super super loud when it sit focuses. The lens is zoomed in and not very helpful for most every day situations.

    I purchased this lens mainly for portrait shots but i use it for regular shots too. It’s wide aperture gives you the best crispness in the pictures.

    Good portrait lens. Will test it out more. Colors turns out great and the bokeh effect is really good cause of the low aperture. Not bad with the price either

    This is a great value for the price of this lens. Everything looks just as good as the 55mm Zeiss and a fraction of the cost. The only complaint I have is the focus motor is a little loud compared to other Sony lenses but not has loud as Canon EF lenses.
