Focus is a little slower compared to higher quality Sony lenses, but for portraiture work fast focus isnt quite as critical as an event. Bought on sale and happy with it for a cheap lens.

I think this product should be worked on and maybe upgraded.

Great lens, It has its minor issues, autofocusing time and is very noisy. However for the price a must have lens. Takes great pictures.

This lens has proven to be perfect for my situation.

This lens will get you some really beautiful shots, especially for the price. but if you really want a great Shots, save a little more and get the sigma 56mm.
