||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I initially "settled" for this lens because I was leaving for a trip and didn't quite have the funds for a Zeiss 55mm/f2.8. It turns out, I didn't settle so much after all. I love how easy this lens is to use as I am no professional. It is small and compact and fits well considering I have the small Sony a5100. I recommend this lens for those who don't want to spend to much due to lack of experience; but, it is a great investment.

Sony FE 50mm f/1.8

I will be changing it out soon though because it is fairly slow in terms of focusing. It also is a bit noisy, which is distracting to me. Its worth it for beginners or those who aren't ready to pull the trigger on the pricier 50mm f/1.4

A6300 was my second serious camera purchase. This is my go-to lens at the moment. The photos are crisp and it doesn't dent your budget. I don't think there is image stabilization so you need really steady hands in low light or get a tripod. Sometimes I have seen that AF takes time and keeps on focussing on some other thing than what you want it to focus on.

This lens should be in every photographer's kit. Lightweight and versatile, it does well in most all lighting situations, outdoor events and indoor closeups. Quiet and a value at its price point. Definitely recommend.

Photography with high-quality tech

I recommend this product really good use in the night photography, which help to have more details in terms of high mega pixels especially in the night, it does work great in day too, but I bought it because for night shoot.
