Good nifty 50 for Sony E-mount

It's what most of us need in our bag, an inexpensive fast and reasonably sharp normal prime. You can pay big bucks for a Zeiss or GM lens, but most of us won't see much of a difference, other than in our bank accounts. Unless you're a professional, this is the 50mm lens for you.

a great first lens

In fact, these cameras can accommodate the lenses designed for an APS-C sensor. But... it is great to have a full frame lens. Of course, these are expensive - especially the zooms and wide angles. For an amateur, the cost can be daunting. But this 50mm prime lens is very affordable, and it is decently sharp. Much more so than the zooms (which is why primes are still popular with professionals.). And if you examine your own shots, you may find that, except for landscapes, the 50mm covers most of what you shoot now. Love this one.

Perfect Portraits!

Great lens, I’m glad we got the warranty cause it had to go back and get a new one. I forgot what happened to it but was glad we had the plan and it worked great till it broke and the replacement is still working great
