Affordable 50mm FE lens

Great quality to cost

It’s perfect for portraits and good to have for low light conditions too. Very sharp and I find the rendering inoffensive. It’s a lens I always carry now.

Super light and decent build quality with a buttery F1.8 aperture. Worth the $$$ and a must have lens. I keep this one on at all times for my run and gun shooting.

I’ve used it for concert photography and looks fantastic. I’m using it on A7RII. I’m a beginner with photography so I went this lens for cost and to learn.

No zoom, just point and make sure the framing is good and take that pic.

It worked out great, for the price, it was pretty good. better than I had thought it would be. Pictures came in clear more vibrant than my stock lens.

I used the lens when my daughter was born and all of her newborn photos look like they were taken by a professional. I absolutely love it.

I've already done a few sessions with clients and they love how the photos turned out. Really compliments their facial structure and is quite sharp for such a cheap lens.

I use this for straight on interior shots and anytime I'm trying to get a bokeh effect. This lens does not have auto focus so you need to consider that before purchasing.

You shouldn't count on this to be an every day every subject lens, but count on it to be a great start if all you have is the Sony Alpha Body.

This one is great for the price and is sharp at 2.8 and above. No major complaints with auto focus speed or noise. It does its job well if you know what you are doing.
