I’ve rented the 70-200 GM 2.8 for several months and decided to make the purchase. Believe me, it’s worth the investment. It’s pricey compared to the Sigma 70-20 2.8 but why not spend the extra to have a piece if mind and a native lens vs, 3rd party.

Aperture precision is amazing

I used the 24-240 OSS lens and that usually has an issue getting to 3.5 beyond 100mm zoom. But this lens has amazing precision on aperture even at 200mm. My life has changed

Higher f value doesn't mean sharper picture. Sweet f value is 2.8 to 10. Focusing is fast too. I like the brightness of the lens. Local store packed 135mm lens for my order. It was funny but got the correct item. Very helpful to use local best buy store.
