Lens don't guarantee you to get pro level shots but if you can handle the price and are looking for pro level emount lens with short to medium range focal ability, pro build and can maximizes your camera sensor then getting this lens is a absolutely solid purchase. Lower priced options are available but you get what you pay for.

Loved the lens! Great video and photos but it was the size and weight that I didn’t like. Sharp images with constant 2.8 is what you would expect from Sony and their G master glass. I ultimately returned and got the Sony G 24-105 F4. I plan to save & get the GM 24-70 Mark II

Love this lens and the quality of the pictures. I took photography as a hobby and upgraded to a Sony full frame a7rii from a Sony a6000. This lens is compatible with both camera e-mount and the pictures are professional quality. Amazing bokeh and completely satisfied with this product.

Wow. Just wow. I original had a Sony A33 and upgraded to the Sony a7rII and purchased the lens! The G-Master is the way to go. I can shoot portraits of my kids plus shoot soccer games 7v7 and 9v9 all the way across the field with perfect clarity

Beautiful lens that works very well with my Sony a7r IV. Together they take amazing photos. If I had to name one con, I would say that because it’s meant for a full frame camera and it’s good glass, it’s gather big and heavy.

Sony has always been behind in the lens department but with the GM line everything changes. This lens is amazing. I use it on almost every shoot. It's extremely sharp and the quality is second to none. It is large but that's what you should expect from a fixed 2.8 aperture. I highly recommend this lens.

Lens is great to have! A bit heavy but you get use to it. Buy a lanyard for camera. It's a great universal lens for portraits and most landscape shots! This is a must have.

Love love love literally my dream lens!! I was hesitant to go for the g master but I have no regrets worth every penny

This lens has quickly become my go-to lens, and has replaced 2 of the lenses in my bag. It covers a broad range of focal lengths, with the perfect f stop to still get a nice creamy background blur.

Coming from pretty much only using primes, am loving getting used to being able to zoom in and out. Please go read/watch more in depth and qualified reviews on YouTube or other photography resources to decide if you should purchase. :-)

Ordered an open-box item rated as excellent and when it arrived 3 days past the scheduled promised delivery date (Elite-Plus), the lens was scratched and not everything was included in the box. I promptly took it into a local store to exchange it and they handled that perfectly, now we will get a brand new lens (cost more) but I will have peace of mind that it will be packaged correctly and not scratched. The Sony Lens is magnificent and we cannot wait to get the new one.

The Sony FE 24-70mm G-Master lens is phenominal across the entire zoom range. The images are sharp straight out of camera (Sony A7R3) and Bokeh is gorgeous. This lens would be a valuable asset for any photographer and a must have if you are thinking of switching to a Sony system.

This was one of my best purchases at best buy. I cant explain the quality and convenience that best buy has served me.

As of 10-13-2016, this is the best zoom lens you get for a Sony E mount. My only gripe is that this lens is heavy, but once you get pass that is would be your all around lens.

The G-Master series Sony lenses are definitely the gold standard for mirrorless optics. You'd be hard pressed to find any reviews that pan the product. This is an expensive lens, but for the money you'll own one of the sharpest pieces of glass currently available for the Alpha 7's.

I’ve had this lens for a couple of weeks and the image quality that I get is superb. The pictures are nice and sharp and of nicely saturated colors, all without post processing. The lens is expensive, but well worth the money. Glad I bought it!
