Excellent carry-around lens spanning wide-angle(landscape) to telephoto(portrait) lens with corner to corner sharpness. Expensive but quality is top notch. Bit heavy. Autofocus is better than I expected. Sharp even at wide open(2.8). Very happy with the purchase.

Sharp, fast zoom that will serve the vast majority of any photographer's needs. G Master quality build and feature set (although would be nice to have lens stabilization). pricey but you get what you pay for.

Amazing lens! This is capable of zooming from far away and up close shots. Its a very versatile lens that is great for all kinds of shots.

I love my Sony A7rii, but it often took a back place to my Canon or Nikon full frame gear when I wanted to be sure of the highest image quality. Generally speaking, Sony's lenses - even their so-called "Zeiss" lenses - were not as good as the professional grade Canon L or certain Nikkor lenses. Enter the Sony "G Master" FE 24-70, which can easily compare with the best glass from Canon, Nikon, Zeiss, Voightlander, etc., but includes the added benefit of being used on the Sony A7Rii camera, with its outstanding EVF, focus magnification and focus peaking, etc. This amazing lens puts Sony on the map for serious photographers who want the best image quality from their higher MP sensors. Recommended!

My go to lens for professional photography session this is super sharp and delivers extremely high quality images.

Should be everyone's first lens if buying full frame Sony. Crisp and perfect. It's z tad on the heavier side, but this is a walking around and shooting marvel. Definitely go native glass on this one!

This lens is a pretty much all around usage lens. Highly recommended. Is a little pricy but well worth it. You won't regret buying it. This lens is for serious photographers who are interested on acquiring quality images.

Using it on my Sony A7CII. Love it so far. I can capture wide shots to close ups. Easy to use and focus.

Like every review before me I find this lens a great lens that needs to be part of someone’s collection. Wether blogging or photography it is a crystal clear shot. Only downside like most g master lenses is the price .

Excellent lens, great quality, it’s heavy but stronger

If you are getting into photography or videography and want a great lens that's gonna last you a long time, then this is the lens for you. -Great autofocus -Quality design -Great price (if timing is right) Now I understand the price is not appealing but you can always trust the Open Box Deals if there are any available and paying a little bit more for the protection is worth it in the long run.

Best Sony lens I have ever bought, images out this lens are very sharp. Lens has a solid feel and smoot zooming and focus mechanism, it is a complement to my A7R M2. Other than the price this lens deserves a 5-star rating.

Great lens just rather have the GM I for what I do which is videography but never the less great amazing lens for photography

Nice f/stop and quick focus. Its heavy and my wrist pops after a few hours but totally worth the image quality.

This is an incredible lens. Well built, sharp, fast to focus with a pleasing sweet bokeh. On par with high end primes. My FE35mm, FE55mm and FE90mm macro are all redundant since I purchased this lens. Great lens.

This is THE most expensive lens i’ve ever bought. And i absolutely don’t regret it. It’s such a great lens, no chromatic abberation or warped images at the edges so far. The cons? Its hefty price tag.

Can't beat the quality. It is a heavy lens, so keep that in mind, but the clarity is unbelievable. Love this lens.
