    Excellent image quality of you get a good copy, but there is fairly high variability from sample to sample. In all cases it out performs the 24-70 f4 OSS, but a good copy will blow it away. Rated as 4 instead of 5 because of variability issue.

    I purchased this used at the outlet. It was a faulty piece unfortunately. It had below standard image quality and eye focus response was intermittent. Still a great lense if you can find a good copy. Eventually ended up selling it and upgrading to the GMII.
