Don't trust Open Box ratings
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ordered an open-box item rated as excellent and when it arrived 3 days past the scheduled promised delivery date (Elite-Plus), the lens was scratched and not everything was included in the box. I promptly took it into a local store to exchange it and they handled that perfectly, now we will get a brand new lens (cost more) but I will have peace of mind that it will be packaged correctly and not scratched. The Sony Lens is magnificent and we cannot wait to get the new one.

The images are sharp straight out of camera (Sony A7R3) and Bokeh is gorgeous. This lens would be a valuable asset for any photographer and a must have if you are thinking of switching to a Sony system.

The Best zoom lens for Sony E mount.

You'd be hard pressed to find any reviews that pan the product. This is an expensive lens, but for the money you'll own one of the sharpest pieces of glass currently available for the Alpha 7's.

The pictures are nice and sharp and of nicely saturated colors, all without post processing. The lens is expensive, but well worth the money. Glad I bought it!

Add a doubler and the 2.8 will still capture great photos. I have this lens, the 90 macro and the 70-200 with doubler if needed. Heavy glass and good construction.

So far I have used this lens in indoor gym fluorescent lighting and dim theater lighting. I just use auto setting and pictures have such crisp color. Can’t wait to see how brillant pictures will be in natural light.
