Unfortunately, it is expensive for what you get. The Sigma art series is a superior lens and a cheaper alternative. Spend the extra money and get the GMII if you want a Sony lens.

Good but not Great

It was a faulty piece unfortunately. It had below standard image quality and eye focus response was intermittent. Still a great lense if you can find a good copy. Eventually ended up selling it and upgrading to the GMII.
