I wanted a lens that I could carry with me on trips without having to swap lenses between my shots and oh boy does this bad boy delivers! It's sharp, fast and it feels great in my hand. I can use it for portraits, parties, hikes and even weddings. I don't mind the weight of this lens at all but I can see how some people may find it a bit on the heavy side. The photos I'm showing are both raw and unedited.

This lens has been excellent in real-world use. Autofocus is fast and accurate, image quality is very sharp, and the build feels solid and well made. Very good lens and versatility is great. Able to use it for portraits as well as landscape photography. Image quality, and sharpness stand out. One negative of this lens is the weight. It is heavy. Overall, very good lens and it’s the get the job done beautifully.

As a photographer and videographer for weddings of 10 years, this lens has not failed me. It is on the heavier side, but the quality in this lens is unmatched. It creates very crisp and sharp images, even when zooming fast.

The glass on this lens is legendary. I love it as the level of production has stepped up bigly.

Everything looks fantastic about this awesome lens. The photos are sharp, colorful and magnificent. However, you have to pay much attention at its weight, especially during a international travel. I felt a sore and numb of my arm and hand after an hour using.

This lens completely exceeded my expectations. The image quality is outstanding — razor-sharp even at f/2.8 and edge-to-edge across the frame. This is my go-to lens for most of my photography needs. It is well built and feels great in use. The image quality is fantastic. It is big and heavy which is to be expected for this lens. I would have given it five stars but the price is too high relative to other competitive options out there.

Got this as a second lens for my Sony A7R III. It clearly isn't a cheap lens by any means but once I had my hands on it in store you can feel and see the quality of it. I had pretty much decided on the Sony 24-105 f4 but wanted to try out this and ended up deciding to get this and haven't regretted it. Pros: -extremely sharp -fast lens and good for low light situations -high quality Cons -expensive -heavy and longer than many similar zoom lens

the title says it all, the glass in this camera produces phenomenal results. So much that I took two test photos, one without a UV filter and another with one on (Hoya) and the UV filter actually degraded some of its sharpness!! This is probably going down as one of my best lenses ever owning! Keep in mind, this lens is pretty heavy for it size. I assume its due to it being built like a tank!

The lens might be a bit pricey for the hobby shooter, but it's an excellent lens for any shooter whether for video or stills. The lens is solidly built. Photos are sharp and auto-focus, if applied is fast with any of the A7 series cameras or A9 series. Cmpared with the Tamron or Sigma, which are both excellent lenses, I'd still prefer this.

One of the best lenses you can purchase for the Sony mirrorless system . This lens competes with the best in class Canon and Nikon lenses. It is on the pricier side, and can be quite heavy in comparison to other ear mount lenses. However you must keep in mind that this lens will only be useful on the higher end full frame camera systems, such as the Sony a9 or be a 7R3

It is well worth the money! If you have to affirm or get a Best Buy credit card ! You will not regret it. My go to lens

I've only been using it for a week or two as an amateur photographer, but image quality is superb. It's a little heavy when working on a gimbal, but it can still be done. Can't wait to continue learning about all this versatile lens can do.

Absolutely stunning quality capture both for both pictures and videos. I was leery at first to see its picture quality considering it’s a lens catered for cinema nonetheless mounting to a cinema line camera. This lens just does it all. Extremely impressed. I purchased this lens around summer of 2024, and I am happy to say I am still extremely satisfied with my purchase.

This lens is all you need for amazing videos. The clarity is unmatched and the bill quality is superb. I use it for my Sony A7Siii and the two were made to be together. I must have if you’re trying to do professional work. This is definitely a industry standard.
