This is my first gaming headset, and I can't believe I've gone this long without one. The headset has great sound, and it does an excellent job of blocking out external noise. Haven't had any complaints from people that they can't hear what I'm saying, so the mic must be good as well.

Great headphones for keeping the noise out and being able to concentrate on the game at hand.

I have used this on both my PS4 and Vita (with headphone jack) and it works great, the sound is amazing and I enjoy the closed virtual sound. I have also used it on a PC and it works great just like on the PS4 console. I have not used it on a pS3 so I can not say how well it works.

These headphones are great! Really good sound and completely covers my ears. The mic is built in which is cool, but I felt like people had a hard time hearing me. I would sometimes have to talk louder than usual to be understood clearly, but other than that these headphones are great. I bought them specifically so I had headphones for a ps3 and ps4.

My son love the Sony head phone for his play station 4 that I gave to him on Christmas Day.

I bought this for my son and he enjoys the freedom this headset gives him when he is gaming.

This headphones give you the best experience on PS4 Games

A solid headset that supports PS4 chat and game audio functions with its built-in controls. Doesn't support Bluetooth, so it requires a USB adaptor (included) to be attached for wireless. It can also be connected to most devices as a regular headset/mic using a 3.5mm headphone cable (included), but most of the features are not supported in this mode.

Got this headset for gaming and it does everything I need

My original goal was to redirect sound and put an end to my neighbor's complaining, but I discovered that gaming was infinitely more fun and realistic with these. I can no longer stand to play sound through my television.

These head phones are great, I use to own the pulse one for the PS3 and these are more comfortable when wearing glasses. They are also cheaper and the sound quality is the same

The sound is lovely and it's not too heavy on the head

After researching the many options for a wireless headset, I decided to go with these. Couldn't be more pleased with my choice. For the price you aren't going to find a better headset with the sound quality and functions that this comes with. Sound is great and it gets loud enough but I can see where those who like it extremely loud would have issues. The companion app is a must to get the sound the way you want it. With these on, you definitely pick up on sounds that you never knew were in the games you play. I have a great surround sound system but choose to play with these on because it makes a huge difference because of those sounds I've been missing out on. I haven't experienced any sound leakage yet. The VSS works well. You actually hear sounds coming from the proper directions. I was surprised that feature worked as well as it did. Comfort is great with these. I've played for hours at a time with absolutely no issues. They are very light weight and don't squeeze your head. The ear pads are comfortable and fit perfectly around my ears. I haven't had an issue with the ear pads making my skin sweat after long periods of use. Battery life last a decent amount of time. Roughly 7-8 hours. You can use these while charging which is a huge plus. It means you'll never have to play without them. You can charge these with an Android phone charger, so you don't have to worry about the charging cable that is provided being long enough. Build quality isn't as bad as other reviews have made them out to be. They are extremely light weight so they used plastic for the majority of this headset. With that being said, you can't be rough with these and expect them to last. If you're one how takes care of their things, then you shouldn't have any issues with them breaking. If you're one who just tosses things around, expect them to break. Simple as that. The functionality of these are great. Very easy to get to all of the controls on the headset. I like the fact then when you press the mute button on the headset, it actually pops up in the top left hand corner of the tv screen. So you don't have to guess if the mic is on or off. Best Buy priced matched so for the price, you truly can't beat this headset. So if you're on the fence, give these a try. I've been more than happy with them.

good headset . sound is great. and very comfortable

It's a sweet set of headphones for $99, less if you can get them on sale. I do recommend these if you're not in the market to spend $200 for another brand. I don't see why you would. The controls on the ear can be a little better though. There's a switch for sound/chat, and volume but I find I forget what side they're on and mistakenly hit them.

My son & his friends absolutely love the Sony Gold wireless headphones. They have awesome sound quality for gaming, especially on military games. They also use them for the TV, tablet & computer for You Tube, TV & Netflix, so they don't wake us when we are sleeping.

This was my first headset so I could play online with friends. It's a bit expensive, but it works fine. I'm sure there are cheaper headsets that work equally as well. But, the headset is very comfortable. Because of the price, I'd only recommend this headset to serious gamers. You're kind of paying for the brand.
