I've recently purchased and returned three different PC gaming headsets that also work on consoles solely because they weren't comfortable. I wear glasses when I'm home and gaming, so comfort is the number one factor when I'm looking to purchase a gaming headset. These things nailed it. They have huge soft ear cups that don't tend to get hot or sweaty and they allow me to game for hours without any pain on my ears or head. This alone made the headset worth it to me. In terms of sound these things sound pretty darn good for the price. They have a nice virtual surround sound setting that fully immerses you into the game. Try playing Outlast with these things on in a dark room, it's definitely an experience. Bottom line: if you're looking for a decent priced, comfortable, great sounding headset then these are the way to go.

Got this headset for half off. Great sound, very light. Did hurt myears after extended use but can't beat the quality for the price. Would definitely recommend this.

These are very light so I can wear them for 2-3 hours and not feel pain on my ears. However, the plastic build just feels cheap and not very sturdy so we will see how long these will last. Sound quality is good.

Had the headset for about 3 weeks, so far so good! Very easy set-up, good sound quality, good value for the $$$. I like the fact that its 100% wireless, does not require cord to the controller for chat like past headset I've owned. I also like the fact that it charges w/ mini USB to the PS4 and does not require batteries. I recommend it.

These comfortable, lightweight, and great sounding headphones are a great addition to a PS3 or 4. I even use them for my computer. Easy setup with the USB interface allows them to be moved between multiple devices. The mic sounds good (or so I'm told), and I can wear these for hours. Especially good when you consider the price. The battery needs a good charge after probably 6 hours of use or so.

I purchased these headphones because I play a lot of Call of Duty and was tired of everyone having to deal with me yelling at the TV because I chat with my teammates through my PS4 camera. These headphones are super comfortable and produce a ton of sound. Plus you can have them set up to connect to your computer to be used for skype and other online gaming chat, though the sound can be a bit muffled from what my friends told me when i used them with skype. For the cost these headphones are an amazing buy and I would recommend them to anyone looking for awesome sound quality at a great price.

Ok, so I think this set of headphones is excellent. I never used Astros, so don't expect me to make the comparison. I wouldn't know how or where. However, as a standalone set of headphones, I was honestly surprised at how good the games sound through this thing. It's frankly unexpected. The wireless functionality with the PS4 is just mind-blowing (and no I have not been hiding under a rock). But to be able to sit back and play games with great sound and not having to worry about wires is a huge convenience. And in my mind, it is a convenience that is well worth the cost of admission. NOTE: For those people who keep reading that its made poorly and is fragile ...it is fragile. But because all I did was read those reviews of people complaining about how the hinge snaps, I have NEVER collapsed the headphones and keep them in a ready-to-wear state. This is not a problem for me as I don't travel with a PS4 or anything, so the headphones sit in my entertaining stand and there they wait until I'm willing to subject myself to mismatched TD matches in COD IW (I miss BO3). So yeah, if you can get these on sale, go for it. I paid about 80+ bucks and still felt that was a good value. But do bear in mind that they can be fragile if you are rough with them. Maybe that's not worth it to you, but for 80 bucks...I plan to keep these for a long time as I am a budget gamer.

Honestly, there is no need to go big on turtle beaches. These are amazing, I even use them to talk on the phone while gaming, through a cord though, not wirelessly.

These headphones are great especially at this price. I previously used some wireless TurtleBeach headphones. I will say these are much easier to use and connect than the TBs. The TBs were not compatible with the upgrade to PS4, so I tried these and I am very happy with them. I read reviews questioning their durability, but as long as you treat them with some sort of care, they will hold up just fine. Definitely recommend. Great surround sound quality for games like COD.

I love how it is comfortable and sound quality is great. The companion app that comes with it is a nice little perk as well. I definitely recommend this headset.

This headset is great, having a ps4 and xbox one, i can use it on both my systems. Sure i cant use it on my xbox one with bluetooth but just plug into to xbox controller with the headset adapter and your good to go, you will be able to chat with this playstation headset on the xbox one. This thing sounds awsome on the ps4 and xbox one.

Purchased this after the cheap little headset that came with the PS4 stopped working. It's a good headset. I don't have the best hearing and this review will reflect it based on that. I would say it's perfect for solo games. When I get into multiplayer games with chat, its a different story. My friends voices tend to be too soft for me to hear. I would either have to sacrifice listening to the games audio just to hear them. Granted, I can still have sound coming out of the TV when I do. I connected it to my tablet. Good sound, nothing special. I like that there is an app for it on the PS4 to get the most out of it. Otherwise, I'm enjoying my purchase.

Does as advertised. The Battery life is acceptable and they seem to built pretty solid. only downside is taking up a USB slot, but that 7.1 makes a difference.

While these are no different technically than the already amazing Wireless Gold models, the 20th Anniversary theme they sport is very well done. From the original PlayStation's color scheme to the raised original PlayStation logos (in the appropriate colors, mind you) on the sides of the headset, I'd be hard pressed not to get these if they had them side by side with the standard Golds. Again, build and sound quality are the same as the standard Gold headsets, these are just a great item if you're really looking for a cool variant of some of the best headphones out there.

Ear cups are sized for a small field mouse, Mic monitoring is not very good. Sound was good but lacks bass, if you try to increase the bass it distorts.Overall they are very good but get them on sale.

I love these headphones so much for my ps4 that I sometimes use them to watch movies, if I do not want to disrupt others. The sound is great and far superior to any turtle beach and triton that I have previously purchased. I recommend purchasing the protection plan, already I have swapped out two for having communication issues after a while. I can hear my friends but they cannot hear me.

Easy setup on both the PlayStation and computer if you want to swap back and forth. Clear sounding and comfortable even if you have larger than normal ears.

I've enjoyed the headphones to this point, no issues and sound quality seems to be good as well. I have a larger head and haven't come across comfort issues.
