These are pretty decent for a gaming headset, but kind of a pain to set up and get going the right way.

It's a Sony, works perfectly paired with PS3. Clarity in amazing.

So I got these headphones so that I could play on my PS3 in our bedroom without disturbing my wife. In that regard, they were a great purchase. There's minimal sound leakage so she doesn't notice anything. Since there aren't many other options when it comes to wireless headsets for the PS3 I felt like this could have been a risky purchase. The build quality is good and they fold up so you can easily tuck them away somewhere. They're fairly comfortable on your head and on your ears. They're not too heavy but if you end up gaming for hours on end you'll definitely notice they're there. Syncing them with your PS3 is simple enough. You do have to go into the PS Store and download some software (which is kind of annoying) but it's not too bad. Once that's finished, whenever you turn your device on it automatically syncs with your console. It's nice to be able to set it and forget it after the initial setup. The actual sound of the headphones is above average. They aren't the best in the world and bass is mediocre. The virtual surround sound is good and can make certain games a lot more immersive. The volume buttons on the right earphone are easy to find and use. There is also the option of using certain game "presets" by using the downloaded software but I barely noticed a difference from the standard setting. Besides, you only get 2 settings on the device. Lastly, the battery life is average. I was hoping for more, but you will definitely need to charge regularly if you go through longer gaming sessions (3hrs or more). You can charge via USB from the PS3 or a normal outlet. Overall, this is a good device that offers some privacy from those your live with. *As a cool bonus, if I ended up getting a PS4 down the road it's nice to know that this will be compatible with that as well.

The only negatives I have are battery life and and the usb cord is not very long for charging from the ps4
