    At time of purchase, these were the highest grade, Sony headphones. Specifically fabricated, with the PS4 solely in mind. This should be a good thing. But the manner in which Sony carried out this misguided, proprietary policy. Resulted in cutting off all other possibilities, or unknown uses. For a nearly $100 pair, of PS4 only headphones. The only other use possible for the headphones, was as a spare, wired-set for my phone, or PC. This requires one to forego the point, why I purchased them in the first place: wireless compatibility. This is such a basic ability nowadays, that it is hard to see the logic, or reason involved in making such a decision. Why wouldn't Sony want for it's clients to be able to use their hardware, for anything other than the playstation?? Other than these complaints: the headphones w/mic work excellently, as long as you stay within the limited range. No true PS4 aficionado should be without a pair!!
