I will say that it's a good headset. It's not quite a 100 dollar headset in my opinion, but it's nice. The sound is great for just chat, but if you want to play games through it, you will have issues. It regularly cuts out on intense game scenes. I don't think that usb works well for the audio as another headset I have has this same issue. The optical based headset I tried worked great, but it cost much more. In summary, if you want a headset for chat, this is great. If you want one to replace your speaker, you might want to look elsewhere.

For the price, this is the best wireless headset for PS4. I had purchased a turtle beach headset prior to this and ended up returning it. It wasn't that comfortable and there were other features I didn't like. I had a couple coupons for the Sony gold wireless headset, so I decided to get it. Up to this point, I am very much satisfied with my purchase. The headset is comfortable, so you can wear it for multiple hours. It also has some key features like bluetooth and a built in mic. If you want to get a quality headset for a good price...this is it.

I decided to invest in headphones designed for the system rather than settle for less expensive ones. This was a great choice, plug and play the sound settings uploaded from the PlayStation network for the games can't be beat. The sound quality it's unbelievable the ability to change game and chat volume as needed is hands-down one of the best features

I couldn't find many bluetooth options for PS4. PS3 seems to be better when it comes to that. But this headset is at least wireless. It's a bit pricier than the wired headset but I think it's worth it. There's an app you can download on your PS4 to enhance your headset and have it calibrated towards certain games. I've noticed some crackling in the headphones when using this app. The factory settings are just fine.
