It's OK, sound quality is average, battery doesn't last as long as I would like but again, average. My headphones are used on my PS4 which only has 2 USB slots, so you have to use 1 for the headphones.

Great headphones but they always broke down, too many issues with it, luckily geek squad’s warranty helped but it wasn’t enough

I assumed that Sony would make this work right with their own console. I have weird audio problems and I'm overall disappointed in its ability to do what it's designed for.

Thankfully I bought the extended warranty. Right before it expired these headphones died. Best Buy was awesome with a replacement pair.

I got these for my son. He hasn't used them yet. It's a Christmas present. At least now I won't forget about this email and getting 25 points towards my rewards account!

Awesome design. Cool look. Only thing I didn't care for is that the over the ear cushions don't breath well making it a little too hot for my taste.

Bought these for my PS4. I used a set of Turtle Beaches on my 360 and I loved them. What makes this set better is that it is a completely wireless experience. No cords to controllers or consoles. The rechargeable battery is great too. Just plug it once I turn off my console and it is all charged up by next gaming session. I'm not an audiophile by any means, but the sound always seems pretty good. My only complaint would be about the buttons/sliders. They work just fine, but I wish the sliders were wheels and not buttons.

    Very great; better than Pulse

So I will start by saying that I own both the Pulse Elite headsets and these Gold headsets. I have tested both and I have come away with liking the Gold headset more than the Pulse Elite. Below I will list the Pros and Cons. Pros: This headset is definitely a great value at $99 when most others would run well over $125. Another strength is that the mic in this one seems to pick up better than the Pulse Elites, not by a huge difference but for me it was noticeably better at picking up when I chatted with friends. I also found that these headsets were more comfortable than the Pulse Elites and still fit as well. I would also like to note conveniently all the buttons for this headset are on one earpiece and not divided between two. Lastly the battery on this after a full charge will easily hold for the advertised 8 hours. I estimate if you have the volume high and using it wirelessly then you will get maybe 7 hours but if you have it wired and on a normal volume then you will at least get 9 hours battery life. Cons: For me I don't have a lot of complaints but two noticeable things stick out. First this headset is comfortable but the design is entirely plastic which means that durability is sacrificed in that and these will need careful care from the owner. Secondly on the Pulse Elites you could easily switch between multiple secondary sound profiles (such as for the games Bioshock Infinite and The Last of Us) with just a touch of a button. However on these headsets you can only have one at a time and they must be uploaded from the Companion app each time you want to switch (perhaps in future that will be patched to make it more convenient). Overall I highly recommend this headset to anyone looking in the market for one for their PS4!

1 year + 1 week = 2 failed units... Don't waste your time or money on this product. BBY is of no help at this juncture, either.

Got these on black Friday for $60. Great for a set less then $100. Bass isn't too loud but sound is crisp and clear and the 7.1 virtual surround sound is amazing. The battery last a long time and it's wireless. On top of that they fold up to be compact and portable. It comes with a bag a charger and a headphone plug 3.5mm which is nice. Has buttons to favor chat or game audio or a even split of both. Overall great buy! Can get really loud too only need them up 75% for comfortable gaming

Frustrating to get to work right

I bought these for my 13 year old. I'd read lots of reviews and this seemed like a great product. I'm a little skeptical of them after getting it. first, I was frustrated that you have to take up a USB port on the console. I guess I thought they would connect wirelessly directly with the unit. I initially went online and found multiple tutorials and reviews that state that the instructions don't tell you this or that type of stuff and there were "tricks" to get it to work. I would think that a Sony branded headset should work very seamlessly and easily with their PS4 console. When we did get them to "somewhat work" the sound volume was very low and we had a terrible time getting anyone on the other end to hear us. After a couple of days of my son trying to like them, he asked to return them. A pair of wired headphones plugged into the controller are just fine for him and he can hear everything loud and clear and there. I don't know if my expectations are too high or I just don't understand how gaming consoles work but I'd not recommend these if you're even slightly easily frustrated.

They work great, but break very easily. They crack right in the center of the head band on 2 different sets.
