I bought my son a pair of these headphones and I was happy I purchase the extra warranty because we had to use the warranty three times because they broke. They are not very durable, so the last time they broke we swapped to a different brand.

not really a gamer so after about 100 hours of gaming- headphones developed a crack in the center of the head strap- once 200 hours hit- right side ear completely broke off- will be returning soon- purchased turtle beach instead-

Broke twice had to return and trade for something better

This headset is super comfortable! I've gamed 8hrs+ and i forget I even have the headset in my head because it's so comfortable and so light. Sound quality is pretty good. Can't gripe for $100 heck of a deal! Battery life isn't so good for me. Maybe 6 8 hrs max. Still usedan to my old headset that lasted 2,3 days. But still it's not bad. And it's a good headset. Would definitely recommend. Plug and play on ps4. Very easy to use and work.

These would be be great except for the major design flaw which is a tiny flimsy piece of plastic between the ear piece and the head band, that breaks with the slightest pressure when headphones are taken off and put on, we bought two pairs which lasted less than two weeks

Very comfortable to wear and good sound quality. Only complaint is I wish it had more low end bass.

Sound quality was subpar had better for lower price

This headset has a built in microphone so there is no more mic boom hanging in front of your face! The sound is very good and the battery life is great. Setup was very easy and it was easy to change my settings. I haven't used it for anything other than my PS4 so I cannot comment on using it with other devices but it was definitely worth the purchase price and worked better than some of the more expensive options.

Sony Gold Wireless Stereo Headset for Playstion 4, not good.

I love these headphones. They provide virtual surround sound while also being wireless with the ps4 with a single USB dongle. Most headsets require multiple wire connections in order for headsets to be wireless but you still have to connect a 3.5mm wire to the controller. It is nice that these headphones can also be used wireless with computers via usb dongle (beware: will not provide surround sound).

The wireless is great, they are light and comfortable on the ears, the sound is good.

My son has a hard time communicating with his friend with this headset. Not sure if the Bluetooth connection has a problem. Going to take them back to the store to see if there is something we can do. These were a Christmas present.

This headset is very uncomfortable. It makes my ears hurt very bad not to mention it breaks very easy. I ended up get 2 replacement until i finally got a full refund for it. Thank god for geek insurance.

Lets just say this is the best headset for the price especially if you picked it up during black friday. The sound is loud and clear, lacking a bit of thumb on the low end but enough to satisfy the audio output. I'm not sure if i'm not using it right but i still haven't heard any virtual 7.1 sound. All i hear is stereo........left and right. Its good enough though. This is definitely comfortable on the ears for long term use.

This headsets are great, i was looking at getting the turtle beach steath 500. After all the research and outside suggestions from others i went with the sony headsets. They are extremly comfortable much more then the turtle beach. The sound quality is very good and the everyone heard me very clearly. i would definitley reccomnd this to anyone.

This is my second Sony-branded gaming headset. Sound is great, no distortion at high volume levels, good bass response, good mids and highs. Build quality could be a little better, but nothing too bad. Simple and easy setup. Buttons are easy to remember after using a few times. Great battery life, easily outlasts the DualShock 4. You simply cannot go wrong with these at this price! Best Buy will price match them too!

First of all, let me say that I have never used these headphones. This is a "Mom" review, from the parent tasked with keeping the teenager happy with his gaming setup. As far as I know, the teenager loves these headphones. He picked them out specifically, and we got a great deal through my Elite membership. Having had the PS3 version of this headset in the household (still have it, actually), I was very tentative about buying this PS4 model, because we'd had nothing but trouble with the PS3 ones. Sony was very good about warranty replacements, but nevertheless, we dealt with them A LOT with the PS3 ones, before finally just giving up once the warranty expired. So this time around, I bought the Best Buy warranty. That said, though, he's used this headset RELENTLESSLY for about 6 months now, and we have not had a single issue. No connectivity issues, no sound issues, none of the stuff that plagued us with the PS3 version. So even though I haven't had this thing on my head even once, I cannot begin to say how grateful I am to NOT have to be calling Sony every 3 months to file yet another warranty claim. That in and of itself makes this purchase one of the most worthwhile headset purchases ever!!

I was shopping around for a headset that would enhance my gaming experience, particularly when playing the Call of Duty game series. I enjoy chatting with friends while playing. This headset is wireless with an adjustable mic built right in. No more static, no more frustration due to wires. For the price, I think I love this headset.

These are great headphones! Comfortable & great sound! These are great if you don't want to disturb anybody & have an awesome surround sound system in your ears! Great for gaming, Netflix & watching BluRays/DVD's. I know people that have gotten rid of their Turtle Beach headphones after getting these. No complaints. Customizable too!

Very nice headset for the price ($99.99). It was a great bargain at $59.99 on Black Friday!!!. The sound quality was very good. The headset was very comfortable despite being a leather cushioned headset. The only drawback to this headset is the battery life is not very good at only six hours. Highly Recommended.
