Its really good, i use it for my PS4 mainly, but I also plug the 3.5mm wire that is included, into the TV directly when I play with the Wii U. It sounds great, Battery lasts a long time, etc. Just a suggestion but this headset is constantly on sale, I paid $60 for it directly from Bestbuy last July

This headset is perfect for any PS3 or PS4 owner. Sits comfortable on my ears and head especially since I have a larger head. Like the customize options on the PS4 and makes a difference. Great improvement over previous version from the PS3. The audio quality will satisfy anyone who is not a major audophile. I've even watched a few movies with it.

I bought this headset needing a good wireless one and it was Sony PlayStation Branded. I like the color and feel, Doesn't feel like cheap plastic like some say the foam ear pads are comfortable. Also the battery Life last a long time. For me it was about 5-6 hours half volume.

Save your money for a viable chat headset. After twenty minutes my ears were sweating. The sound was pretty weak for $100, and the voice pick up for chat was muddy and muffled.

I was anxious to have a headset to listen to my game play when its very late and dont want to wake up everyone in my house with the game noise since I have a serious surround sound for my room. I was very worried about the sound being too low and not being worth the whole experience but I was wrong. I was blown away how the sound was. At first I didnt think it was working when they were on my head was thinking the sound was still coming from my tv thats how impressive the surround sound to me was. I love the life on the headset. First run through with it to see how long it would last before dying and was 8 hours. I think thats more than enough for one sitting of gameplay since it comes with a charging cord to recharge everytime you are not using the headset. I hated the fact that it requires a USB dongle to connect wirelessly instead of direct to the PS4 which means I have now only 1 USB port to use for charging my controller and headset so I have to manage it. Someone brought my attention the reason for the dongle is for the 7.1 surround sound experience since blutooth technology cant use 7.1 (make sense now but still....eh). I have not used the microphone to chat with anyone yet but im sure that would be fine after seeing the location of the built in mic and where it is to my mouth when I put the headset on. Overall excellent product for the price when you compare to other wireless headset with same features. Some complain that this headset has only 1 preset you can put at a time compared to other headsets but it doesnt really bother me.

For the price, this is an absolute must buy. The virtual surround sound is excellent for people who have roommates or family members in the house to keep noise down. Battery life is decent, but it charges extremely quickly. The chat quality is top-notch as well, and the microphone is hidden as well. I'm also excited to try out the custom sound modes for certain games (via an app to be released in the future). It is very stylish and portable, and even comes with a nice carrying pouch. And if nothing else, it is great just to use as a regular pair of headphones for your Vita, smartphone, tablet or anything with a headphone jack. Highly recommended headset.

Finally, a console company that produces a headset just right. I purchased this headset based on other reviews and have to say that all the positive rumors are in fact true! The simulated 7.1 quality is great for: Shadow of Mordor, Destiny, and Dragon Age Inquisition. I have tested the default settings and tailored settings for Destiny. The Destiny specific settings make playing this game much more enjoyable than using the sound from my Sony LED TV. The voice capture quality is great as well, I have been told it is like listening to the factory earpiece headset. Another thing that makes this a great headset is the simplicity of the mute button instead of the lever on the factory headset. Once you know which button it is, it is so easy to mute during gameplay. A full charge usually lasts me a few hours and up to 5 hours of straight gameplay and voice chat before requiring a charge. Cons: The only gripe I have is that the headset uses a USB Bluetooth stick to connect wirelessly. Therefore, you now only have 1 USB slot left in the front. This headset should be able to connect like the controllers without the USB stick after initial pairing.

I got these headsets because at night my wife is not too happy about it sounding like a warzone or a stadium. I love these headphones, they sound great, they have no mic that extends out, and they are completely wireless which is very cool. you will not find a better set for this price. There is also an application you can download off the network that you can customize your sound. Awesome

These headphones I have had for just under a year and the quality is amazing. They were built for durability and dependability. My son and I have shared these and the fit is great with the adjustable lengths. Built in mic which you can mute and surround sound which is great for games which require you to hear things such as footsteps. The price is great for these because it sits above the lower end and priced below the higher range for the quality that is provided for any gamer.

I purchased this headset during a special price for Elite Plus customers and I'm glad I did. Simple headset to set up very comfortable and great sound. Nicely priced for a gaming headset vs the competitors.

Does exactly what it says. Purchased as a gift for my bf and he really likes it. Being wireless is perfect and good battery life. Great product at a decent price. Totally got my friend to buy these too.

I have used the original Wireless stereo headset, the pulse elites, and now these, the gold wireless stereo headsets. Picked them up at my local best buy, and they sound amazing, they were built with quality in mind, and Sony definitely delivered. No more cracking issues like with the elites, and the only thing missing is the rumble feature, but that was not that useful anyway. The extra battery is a plus, and the design is sleek and simple, (currently wearing them while I'm out shopping). Of course, these are "gold" so I expect them to make Platinums in the summer, and if they keep this up, I will purchase those two. I love their products.

This is truly an amazing headset. The sound quality are amazing!!! You can hear every little details coming out of this thing. It doesn't matter if it is just a whisper. I have been using it for a few months and truly love it. This headset is wireless and it put out excellent sounds. The better life still last about 8 hours and it charges quick. it s comfortable on the ears. I am glad I brought it for my PS4. I loved it and my loved it. No complaints.

I was a bit skeptical before I made my purchase due to "bad" reviews from outside sources, but I have to adtmit, these are great quality headphones for what they are really worth.the range could be improved but I'm overall happy with my purchase.

These headphones/headset is perfect for PlayStation 3 users, because it is wireless, has great battery life, and 7.1 virtual surround sound. It is comfortable, even when wearing eyeglasses, and the over-ear design filters outside noise. It can also be used for voice chat, has physical power and volume buttons on the headset itself, and the hinge is foldable. If you are in need of a headset or microphone, this is exactly what you need!

This is the official headset for PS4/PS3. Great for gaming and talking to people online. It's also comfortable for your head.

Not comfortable. Headband is snug on the sides while sliding back and forth. Ear cups are huge but do not offer enough space for ears to fit comfortably, think on ear vs over ear. Very short battery life (5 hours), very short range(15-20 feet). Set is heavy and sturdy. Controls are difficult to operate, read and differentiate from one another. I returned this for the Stealth 500P. The Stealth isn't as sturdy as the Sony set but I'm going to purchase the warranty to protect my interests.

I've had numerous headsets in the past, even other Sony ones. The reason this headset exceeds others for the PS4 available now is because it has the perfect balance of sound quality, ease if use, comfort and price. Especially comfort, they are the most comfortable pair of gaming headsets I've had. If you own a PS4 and you're looking to buy a wireless headset then look no further. You'll not be disappointed.
