Very good headset for the PS3/PS4. Battery seems to last a very long time. Headset connects with the transmitter seamlessly and quickly. Sound quality is good and it's great that both chat and in-game sound/music can be listened through the headset simultaneously (or selectively turned off). The only negative for me is that the headset seems a bit heavy (possibly due to the battery) and tilts slightly off-center (once again, maybe only for me). Still a very good headset for PS gaming.

I have had two turtle beach headsets, both of which malfunctioned within a week and were returned. Even still, compared to when they were working, the Sonys are a clear winner. These were made by the same company for that product specifically. You literally just plug in a USB adapter to your PS3 and turn it on. That's it. The sony Virtual Surround Sound is better than the Dolby in my opinion... Dolby is quieter whereas these lean more towards a directional emphasis. Comfort- definitely more comfortable than the PX4s. Lighter, more cushioned, and more space for the ears. The controls are simple and easy. It won't answer your phone for you in game, but... who does that? These headphones do everything you need for gaming, and they do it very well. I would have paid $200-$250 easily for these if I had known how good they were. $99 blows me away. 10/10 would recommend

This headset sounds amazing. You don't have to buy $300 Turtle Beach headsets to have great sound. The virtual 7.1 surround sound on these sounds incredible and you can change the game volume and voice volume individually which is very convenient. The microphone picks up sound very well even though it is not right in front of your face. Overall, this headset sounds exactly as I was expecting without breaking the bank. Highly recommended.

I got this headset when my PX22 would not let me hear friends while in parties. This headset is great in options for controlling volume for in-game sounds and party audio. I like having easy access to balance them out as well. It's extremely comfortable despite the size of the headset. And you gotta love that classic PSOne gray! My only complaint is that I occasionally get some static/white noise or the audio cuts out. I'm not sure if it's interference from my other electronics (second PS4, Wii U, wireless router, etc) or if it's the headset I got, but it happens so infrequently that it's not enough for me to swap it out for another one.

Ok , so I've been looking for a headset to use because my iPhone 5 earbuds have been hurting me, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money. Although it is not a teethe chattering loud headset, it is still really good for the amount of money u pay for it. It is made pretty solid, and it folds up so u can put them away discreetly. Your ears breathe very well so there will be no stickiness or sweating. Battery life is very good (7-8 hours) and u can charge as u are using , but the cord that comes with it is only 5 inches in length. One downside so far is that my fiancé said she could hear the audio coming from the headset when she was reading a book on the couch, but I had it all the way up. For 100 dollars these are exactly what I was looking for , and I feel like I didn't spend too much on a pair of gaming headphones.

Sound quality is decent and I like the convenience of having a wireless headset. Being able to use it on PC via USB is also a big plus. You definitely get your money's worth.

I really like these headphones I picked them up today and previously owned the pulse headphones. I like the pulse headphones but they dont work very well with ps4 even after the update to 1.60. These work much better and you can use them with anything even a pc because they are wired and wireless.

I had Tritton AXPro's, (wired setup) then purchased these as a 'cheap' backup. WOW, was I surprised. 1st, the con: the Only con is friends tell me I now sound like I'm in a closet when I talk, they got over it and used to it now, but I got fussed at at first, but they stopped when we were playing COD Ghosts S & D and I would be like, how could you not hear that guy behind you, or to the left of you, etc... He had Astros and was giving me grief about MIC, yet I heard 2x better than he did. Also, when I switched from my Trittons (which I have been very pleased with) I heard sounds on COD on the PS4 that I have NEVER heard before. I now where these PS Gold Headsets exclusively, and plan on getting another set as when they go on sale again!!! Highly recommend, BEST BANG FOR BUCK!!!

This is a must have if you enjoy gaming but your spouse prefers reading. Great sound quality, long battery life, easy controls

Ordered these online Black Friday (for my biggest kid at heart, my amazing husband)! Got an awesome deal, Thanks BB! He really enjoys them, they help him focus on the game without distractions, they are pretty comfortable for long wear and the best part is they are wireless so, those things that happen with wires are a thing of the past. What I like best, besides the smile on his face and his enjoyment, is that I don't have to hear what he's playing because he has some lousy headphones! Win-Win!

I have owned this for about a year now and it still is working just fine. Getting the balance of chat and sound can be a bit annoying, but once you find a good balance its fine. The sound is really good and I really enjoy it. The built in mic seems to work just fine as others were able to hear me just fine. However I do not recommend using the headset application on the PS4 with these because when I did it just made it all crackly and choppy unless they updated the application; I just haven't used the application for quite some time now so it might be better now. For the price this a good headset for the PS4.

I got these to game for my PS4. I'm not too experienced with using headsets overall (my only other headset I've purchased before was a TB P11), but these sound pretty good. Its pretty lightweight and the ear cups are soft so its pretty comfortable to wear for a long gaming session.

First i want to say is i sold the first edition of the ps headphones for $50. Took the money and got the Gold. i put them on,and i must say they are comforable. They are not BULKY, and u can actually put them in a safe place. Now I'm playing COD . I have the settings on 2 , but they sound like my OLD headsets( where is the BASS??? # Then i downloaded the app, uploaded on Shooter ,went back to COD , and it sounds THE SAME!!!! Went back to the app, customize my settings myself, turn the bass all the way up, went back to COD, SAME RESULTS!!!! The explosions NEXT to me should have BASS!!! Another thing I've notice. the volume is too LOW . My old headsets were louder on the ps4 than the Gold. There is NO levels indications on the TV on where the volume is??? At least on the ps3 headset , they have sliders and u can TELL where the chat/volume are. And one more thing, the #buttons# on the ear piece is HARD to find!!! You got to have a light touch to find the chat/volume #buttons). Overall, I hope the ps4 have another update about these issues. As far as the headset, they are ALRIGHT!!!!!

I bought no less than 4 headsets for my older PS3. Those included Skullcandy, Sony, and Astro. These are the perfect combination of sound quality and price. Even at the full 99.99 price I feel that you are getting a deal. Chat works flawlessly (both ways), bass response is good, build quality is exceptional, and you can get a good 6+ hours of use before having the charge. If you're on the fence I would recommend these over anything. To me, they sound better than my 300 dollar Astros that I sold once I bought these.

These turned out to be great headset for my ps3 and ps4. price was good and sound quality was great.
