Well, Ive been using this headset for 1 week and man am I glad I bought it. Ive been missing out on hearing the different sounds the video games produce. The only gripes I have is that after 1 hour of use I need to take them off to let my ears rest since their not the most comfortable. Also, they are not noise isolating, alot still gets thru. Battery could also be better but it does tend to charge fast. I got these for $20 from BB since they where on sale for $70 and I had a $50 gift card so definitely not a bad investment. Go get one!

I would highy recommend this product. For a 100 dollars its a great buy, and it sounds great. I primarily play Call of Duty on my PS4 and this headset was deigned for the Gamer. It sounds great with Movies, and Tv Shows as well. It wont give you ear rumbling Bass, but thats not all headphones should be about as they are well balanced. If you are looking for a headset that is reasonably priced and sounds Great, this is the headset for you.

Not saying Astro A50 are bad headset sets but I refused to pay 4 times the amount so I purchased these great headsets instead. If you're playing Call of Duty you can hear foot steps online. great headset and worth the money.

For me a Wireless Headset is necessary when playing shooting games, so my neighbor won't be bothered by the sound of gun shot. this sony product works seamlessly with my ps3 and ps4. The quality of the sound is pretty good.

After gaming few hours with this both on PS4 and PC I am extremely satisfied. Just plug in and play on pc. Feels comfortable and looks cool. Of course sound is great on ps4 and watching movies with surround sound on pc is great. No lag/disconnects/issues. Also took 2yr best buy warranty for additional 15$ which seems good investment on this excellent headset.

I love these things. Now I can play, get totally immersed in the game, and not disturb other family members (or be disturbed). The sound quality is great and they are very comfortable. My only gripe, and it's a small one, is in the set up. These are made for PS4, so why not include in the set up instructions a step to change settings on the box in order to get sound. I was on the verge of taking them back, and literally stumbled across the "send all sound to the headset" prompt.

Comfortable, charge lasts about 8hrs. Way better than that rock on a string that comes with ps4. Buy these they sound great! They work very well with TLOU remastered.

I will begin my review by saying this headset is an incredible value at its price point. There are definitely better headsets available but you will pay much more for them. The Golds are super easy to setup which is very nice. Plug the usb dongle into your PS4 and turn the headset on and your good to go. Also remember to go into audio settings and run all audio thru the headset. Download the free companion app from the PSN Store and you get custom settings and genre specific settings that work with the headset. I use the shooter download with my FPS games mostly but downloaded the Infamous one for when I play that game. The headset is very comfortable as I wore it for about 4hrs initially with no issues. Some people may not like the leatherette ear cushions as they tend to warm your ears. I really have never had a problem with that type of ear cushion myself. There are a few negatives however which were not enough to make me rate them any lower. First off is that the included charging cable is only 1ft long which is pretty bad. If you want to charge them while playing you will need to purchase a longer cable or simply use the one that charges your controller. Second issue is that the mic works as it should but you will sound a little muddy. The reason is because of the mic itself being on the earpiece and not a boom mic like other manufacturers use. For simple chatting with friends during games they will suffice though.

This is a very nice headset for PS4 and Vita (and PS3). The only problem is for Vita you have to connect via a cable, but otherwise it's great

I bought this headset to use mostly for my pc, but also wanted one for my PlayStation 4! Works great for both! You will not be disappointed, plus they last 10x longer then turtle beach.

I bought my headset Sept 2015, It connected right up and I had no issues with it what so ever. Sound was good enough for what I was using it for and it was very comfortable on my head. My first issue was the range.. if I moved from my couch ( which is in front of the tv ) it would cut out. The range couldn't have been more than 25 ft.. My Bluetooth headset for my phone gets better range than that. My second issue is the same that everyone else is having. I picked up my headset to play a game online last night and BOTH ear pieces broke off at the hinges. Now mine has lasted about 15 months but.. I didn't play online a lot of times so my headset was probably on in use about 7 months total since I bought it. I have a 2 year protection plan with BestBuy so I am taking it back today. But my 2 Star review and non recommendation is because IT'S THE SAME OLD ISSUE WITH EVERY SET. When will Sony realize its not due to customer mishandling, its a Very Poor design flaw. They have a great product but if EVERYBODY is having the same issue... it's a Sony Problem not a Customer Problem . I might look into getting a different set this time around because I don't have the time to return another set in a year.. not worth the hassle.

This headset is truly great. The sound quality and everything is over the top. I use it all the time with my phone to listen to music. The only compliant I have is it's not Bluetooth.

Design very cool. Sound looks great. VSS 7.1 so nice. About buttons, after a while you get used and there's no difficult using it. Battery file is good, up to 5-6 gaming hours. Handset companion app it's cool you can choose from a variety of game style or create your own adjustment. The only thing I find a little uncomfortable is that it warms my ears and I have to pull off so I can have a fresh air LOL. However it's worth the $99.99

These headphones work perfectly with the PS4. They can also be used with the PS Vita, and can be used with a computer using the included USB dongle. However, the 7.1 virtual surround sound is only available when used with the PS4.

Picked up over Xmas Black Friday sale. Very pleased, although not surprised; Sony's excelled in the audio field for decades.

I was on the fence about getting these, but I'm very glad I bought them. The sound is great and super clear no matter what I'm doing... watching Netflix, playing Battlefield 4 or even listening to music on my iPod using the included auxiliary cord. Surround sound is awesome, though you'll hear deeper bass and an overall fuller sound with it turned off. If you have a PS4, you can also download a companion app that lets you edit the bass, mid and treble, and set EQs for different games. Definitely useful. I'm not sure where the mic is, but I was Skyping my brother with them on my computer and he said it sounded pretty clear, so take that for what it is. I'd recommend these to anyone who's serious about PlayStation gaming.

initially bought a turtlebeach and returned it the same day. Then went out and got this and I have no complaints whatsoever. Great for COD and virtually any game!

Great sound for the ps4 love them. they fit perfectly and are very comfy. the sound is great quality and are a perfect match for any ps4 gamer. definitely a good buy for someone looking for headphones. oh and ps. they are wireless! =)

I bought these for my son's PS4. Best EVAH! He can play without bothering his sisters and it is totally quiet.. I would recommend to everyone.. well worth the cost.
