After using a few generic ones like Turtle beach and Rocket-fish which communicate well with one or the other (X-box or PS) I decided for this one which looks uncomfortable because of the round shape. Well, is not uncomfortable even for an adult since the shape inside of the ear covers has the natural shape and big enough for an adult with normal ears (not dumbo like). It charges itself from the PS3 or Ps4 so it does not needs external batteries and that is great. I believe is worth the money. The sound is not the best but is good, I would say that in features is a 5 and in sound a 4, still a 4.5.

Much better than a lot of other headsets it really is great even for the price. Not many headsets can hold such a sweet sound. It's fairly smooth and doesn't seem to have any problems other than me forgetting to charge it sometimes.

I haven't had much good with wireless headsets, usually from cutting out sound or bad volume. I LOVE these, they work SO clearly especially in first person shooters like Destiny. FULLY recommended!

I was very happy with this headset. It works for me since I use it to watch TV, my computer is hooked up to the TV. Only weakness is the quality of the microphone, so if you are gaming with it it sounds a little shallow on the other side so your friends might complain, but everything else is very good. Therefore 4 stars.

I've always used turtle beach brand headsets. I have tons at I am impressed and completely happy with these. I like the base boost option and the 7.1 surround. It's a little bulky yet without the mic boom they don't fit that way.

I bought the Sony PS3 headset and after about 3 years of heavy use, i finally decided to get a new one. The old headset still worked great, it just started to shed that plastic fabric around the ear piece and headband. Plus the headband started to crack. After looking at various options, best buy had this headset on sale for $79 bucks. It was a no brainer because for that price point nothing came even close. Noise canceling, virtual surround sound (works great), voice clarity. It is also lighter than the old headset and I like the fact it folds up.

This Sony headset performs better than many I have used previously. Lasting already longer than any turtle beach I have used, also much more comfortable. A little too pricey for the casual player so unless wearing a headset for extended hours save your money.

It's good because you can watch tv on your ps4 or even your computer while others in your room or house are asleep and still get the amazing experience that you were hoping to get from the broadcast because you can hear it perfectly with surround sound.

The PS4 Sony Gold Wireless head phones are perfect for the PS4. The sound quality and volume are amazing and the independent sound controls for chat volume and game volume is truly a luxury. I am in love with the headphones and highly recommend them!

Everything works as expected. Now I am able to play games at night without missing any dialogue. Sound effects are great when streaming Netflix thru PS3. Decent Bass. Excellent with laptop too. Charges with my mobile charger as well (not sure if this is ok).

it is a great pairing with the ps4 because it's seamless integration with platform. audio is nice, Especially since you can switch between apps like Netflix and Hulu. Chat quality is good others say I sound good when playing multiplayer or in party mode.

I have my PS4 connected to a computer monitor but no speakers. I've been playing shooters with a pair of Beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro headphones, which I use primarily for music production. I wanted to pick up this headset because I needed a good pair of headphones to listen through that also had a reliable microphone (iPod headphone+microphone doesn't always work). I picked this headset up with high expectations, and they were met thoroughly. The surround sound is much better than having regular headphones--there's a sense of direction when you're playing games. And I have never considered in-game sound as being crucial to FPS gameplay, but this headset really helps in that aspect.

Purchased because I needed a set for my ps4. The audio is excellent. There is also an application you can download on the ps4 in which you can customize or download preset settings. Only con, is the headband is hard plastic and slightly uncomfortable. But for the price and being wireless. A decent product.

I'm not an audiophile but I am a tech perfectionist. Every gadget I have I inspect and test and I'm very picky about every little detail. All I can say is that this headset is very good. People complain about the bass but once you get them you can download the companion app and raise the bass all the way up. I had the original Playstation headset and the Pulse Elites and I can tell you this headset is more comfortable and has a better build quality than the older versions.

Excellent starter for kids. Love the hidden internal microphone they can't break or rip off. A true wireless option. Had to return 2 off-brands that claimed "wireless" but proven not to be.

This came in just in time for me needing new headphones and to get spooked with Outlast horror. Best Buy had tons in stock on day 1 all for me! :) The bass is great, the included cable is the right one that has the 3 slashes on the cable so it fits ALL my devices without cutting in and out like the 2 slash cable. I just wish it was pure bluetooth or at least optional so I could use it wireless with all devices (ps vita, phone, etc). Ah well...it's great for the price and sounds better than some of these $150+ headphones floating around. The design is also no nonsense and clean. I just hope they last! My teenager loves these head phones to play against his friends on his PS4. Originally was looking toward purchasing a higher priced pair but were steered toward this pair as being better quality and sound. My son says they weren't wrong. He loves them!

So I play a decent amount of video games, and the noise drives my wife mental. She got these headphones for me shortly after I got a PS4 so that I could have my fun, and she could have a tranquil house. She's happy, I'm happy, all is well.

The sound quality is great for the price! They are comfortable and the battery charge lasts long enough for several hours of movies or games!

I started off wearing these whenever my wife was playing piano but now I just wear them every time I play. They're comfortable and sound good. Could be a little louder besides that great set
