The built-in mike works great, no one has trouble hearing me. The sound I receive is clear and crisp. No complaints here!

It has great sound quality. Too bad it is limited to use with the included dongle. It would have been better if you could connect it to any Bluetooth source.

These are excellent headphones. For the price and features its too good a deal to pass up. They are compatible with both my PS4 & PS3 systems. Custom sound presets are a great feature so you can change the sound depending on the type of games you play or the music you listen to. They are also very comfortable to wear and sound great.

Sony's most recent installment of their gaming headset (until Jan 2017 when their newest version is released for a whopping $160) is a good one. The previous edition, Sony Elite Pulse, had it's drawbacks, but if taken good care of, was a terrific headset. This one, is far less flimsy, foldable, and comes with a dust bag to keep safe. There's just one problem with these headsets...heed my advice: HOLD ONTO THE USB ADAPTER FOR DEAR LIFE! KEEP IT IN A SAFE WHEN NOT USING! Honestly, without the USB adapter, your headset becomes an overpriced wired headset. The cost to replace the adapter? About 2/3rds of the price of the headset itself. And, they're so easy to lose. Trust me, keep that thing in a safe place you'll never forget. Performance wise, no complaints. When I speak, others hear me. When they speak, I hear them. When watching streaming videos or playing games, the sound is crystal clear. Now, I'm not going to argue the validity of surround sound even being possible in a headset, but these 7.1's sound great. I'm taking away a star because unlike it's predecessor, the Sony Gold's USB adapter does not come with a audio-in jack to allow use with other electronics like tv or stereo. With the Elite Pulse, you connect the adapter into any USB for power, then plug into it an audio cable from your desired device.

This is a great wireless headset that can be used for more than just the PS. Does a decent job a noise cancelling without actually paying the extra amount of money typically associated with headphones that offer that feature. If you need good gaming headphones you can't go wrong here. Get em'...

My husband uses these every time he plays video games and loves them. No complaints ever and always can hear clearly.

Overall a lot of quality for the price here. I have used other wireless headsets before and the quality was not good in comparison. The batter life is above average so far which is nice. There is also an App for the headset that you can download in the PS Store that allows you to make some sound adjustments based on game type.

i bought these to replace the stock one piece in ear mic and im glad i did they sound crisp and long battery life
