The sound quality is amazing. I originally bought turtle beaches. I returned them, and bought these. Best investment. Light weight, great battery life, ND sound quality like no other.

Charge time is fast and the batery lasts long. The quality of the sound is good and the headset is comfortable. Definately a good buy.

The only thing I regret with these headphones is that I did not get them sooner. While playing games with the TV sound has always been fine, hearing even more distinct and clearer sounds with the headphones on makes it an even better experience. I also watch Netflix when I goto sleep each night, and if my girlfriend is sleeping, or if she is watching something on her Ipad, I wear the headphones and she isn't affected by what I'm watching at all. They are comfortable on the head, and don't take too long to charge, though they need re-charging every few days. Overall VERY happy with them and would highly recommend them to anyone.

I Had both this edition and the Silver edition and not only is the Gold Edition more comfortable it also sounds better. Also the gold edition can be played wired or wireless and while its charging

I've had absolutely no issues whatsoever with this headset. Battery life is great, sound quality is great, and I use it nearly daily. Love it! Extremely comfortable as well!

Got this so I can play shooters late at night when my wife and kid are sleeping. Sound is awesome and the 7.1 surround really gives you an edge on people trying to sneak up on you in games like COD when playing multiplayer....best buy price matched amazon so i got this for like 80 bucks. For the price this headset is really worth it and i have no negative things to say about it. You can spend way more on a headset but realistically the casual gamer won't need anything besides this.

This is the first headset I ever bought for a video game console. I am very pleased with my purchase. easy to use, completely wireless, decent battery life. I was a little nervous how they would feel for a long period of time on my head, esp since I wear glasses, but they are very comfortable. While I'm sure headsets are out there have better audio quality, they probably also cost 2 to 3 x the cost of these.

My first ear swallowing headset, it is very unique to play a game with these on. You can hear things all around you and it really does help you to be more immersed in a game world. Pros for these are they sound great, good bass and surround. The price is good for the quality of the actual set. Cons are they really do make my ears hot, but I can't compare them as they are my first noise cancelling headphones. Also the headset is not blue tooth so it requires a dongle that will occupy a USB port, which is a delicate balance when you own VR or a charging station that uses those ports. I would say for the price you certainly get your moneys worth though.

At less than $100, this is a great headset for folks in a budget. Comfortable to wear, good stereo sound, completely wireless, solid all around. Just don't expect the surround sound quality of a $300 set.

The Sony golds are the best priced and comfortable headphones I think on the market super light, and sound fantastic when playing games and listen to music

I'm a bit of an insomniac and wanted to play some games, but didn't want to wake my girlfriend. This headset fit the bill. They feel nice on the head and have plenty of adjustment. I got them on a Black Friday sale. I wouldn't have paid the $100 price tag. Pros: -They feel nice on the head. -PS4 software with virtual 7.1 surround sound works great. -Won't wake others if you game at night. -Rechargeable -Built in mic (I haven't used it yet). Cons: -Some sound will bleed through, so be aware others can still hear. -Need to be connected to change sound profiles. -Only holds one sound profile at a time. -Materials feel cheap. Handle gently and try not to drop them. -Price tag should be $59.99

The Wireless Gold headset is a really good headset from Sony. The set is generally comfortable and easily adjustable. The sound produced is really good and I recommend using the optional companion app. Note: the virtual surround works well but is only available when the set is being used in wireless mode; line in appears to be stereo only. Overall, I would recommend the set. Any cons are mostly due to personal preference. Pros: + Great sound, VSS works well with games and movies + Comfortable and easily adjustable + Sound/Chat toggle is a great feature + Folding design and travel bag Cons: - Ear cups don't breathe very well, ears may get hot - Ambient sound can be heard at all but the highest volume

Great headset! Wanted to buy a wireless headset for my ps4 and was in between this and a turtle beach headset. I am very happy with my decision to purchase this headset. The headsets are comfortable for casual gaming even with glasses on. If you play more than a couple hours it does require some adjustment every now and then. The sound is clear and detailed. If playing a first person shooter you hear everything and the direction where the noise is coming from. Chatting with other players is also clear and the built in mic is great. No complaints so far.

Awesome hands fee fun with clear sound. Quality produc with long lasting battery time. Just kind of bulky in size but comparable to Beats in size.

I don't typically think of matching a brand when looking for accessories or expect them to be the best quilty. Just a brand looking for another buck in a separate channel they don't understand well enough. Not the case for these headphones. I looked at reviews online for game centered headphones and kept seeing these as the hidden gem. I gave it a gamble and was not let down. Great sound, comfy, easy to use. Took me a little to realize the sound was coming from my headphones and not my tv when I first put them on. Love them.

This is my second set of these headphones. I had a set for my PS3, loved them!! Now I have a PS4 and got a set for it. Sound is better than the first set, which was amazing. Features are great and I love the way they fold down and fit into the carrying bag. Plus with the ability to plug them into the new controller or any other device using a standard mini plug makes them even more functional than the last set. LOVE, Love them.

Pros: They sound great and you can choose sound profiles to give you the sound that the developers intended. Comfortable and can be worn for long gaming sessions. Good battery life. Can double as headphones for other devices like phones, tablets etc. Cons: I wish they had am auto-off for when I forget to switch them off. A few times I've gone to use them only to realize they died because I left them on.

These are some great headphones that packed in all the features that I was looking for into a price that I felt was reasonable compared to the amount of time I actually spend gaming. The ear cups are quite comfortable and the sound is crisp and clear, even compared to the wired SOL Republic headphones I was using via the jack in the PS4 controller. The buttons are easily accessible once you figure out the layout.

I bought these headphones so I could play games and watch movies at night without disturbing my family. Wow was I really surprised at how awesome these things sound! They have surround sound that works amazing, so much I was freaked out by zombies sneaking up behind me ha. So far they are comfortable to wear even with my glasses. I really enjoy how they sound for games and movies, I haven't tried the mic out yet but I would totally recommend these to anyone who wants great sound and wireless.
