I recently purchased a PS4 and quickly realized I would need a good pair of headphones to really appreciate the system. These headphones greatly improved the overall enjoyment of my gaming experience. Not only does the mic cleanly pick up your voice, but audio of the game is enhanced 10x. This is especially true if, like me, you don't own a surround sound system. The headset acts as a personal surround sound system. The headset is extremly comfortable even after 5+ hours of straight gaming.

These are great, easy to use headphones that work wonderfully with the PS4. Some games even have special audio profiles tuned to make the game sound better, and it definitely heightens the experience. Not to mention they perfect for when you don't want to disturb others. They also make pretty nifty headphones to wear around the house as they have a standard 3.5mm jack and are super comfortable.

I got this on Black Friday after reading reviews from different sites and watching reviews and comparison videos on YouTube. The headset is comfortable and provides great directional sound quality. I wanted a good set of headphones to listen to music on my phone but was a bonus that it works with the PS4. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great lower cost set of headphones. The only drawback is there is no way to listen via Bluetooth to your phone.

These headphones are a nice quality pair of headphones. I use them for my ps4. I use them on my laptop and also my other gaming system(yes they work on that system too with the built in 3.5 headset jack on the newer controllers for that other system). These headphones are lightweight comfortable ear cuffs, crisp sound, nice 7.1 virtual surround sound on the PS4. They do not have complete noise canceling but that is not a problem at all, hidden mic for voice chat during ps4 gaming is clear. For the price..these are a descent set of gaming headphones with nice feature set

I picked these up when my previous Sony Headset from the Playstation 3 era finally started to die on me. This pair is much less cumbersome than the previous set. The audio quality is crystal clear and the battery life has (so far) outlived every gaming session I've worn them through. As a bonus, they came with a bag for transport, and a 3.5mm audio cable so you can use them as headphones with just about any device. Perfect for your Playstation 4 or PC gaming experience.

First let me add this headset has a mic and it's not much advertised but it works seamlessly. Though you might not see it, it works wonderfully when using this product. With that being said this baby has finally caused me to cut the cord. It used to be remote or radio headphones you'd have horrible interference or you'd hear white noise. Everything is clear and better yet it feels good on your ear. It's one of the most comfortable headsets I've ever had. It also has surround sound and with the playstation app you download from the PS STORE you can customize everything to it! You'll also notice the app so links another headset product that games will often add special features to the headset so I am hoping this is done for this product. I will get skipping for music in Skyrim but keep in mind Skyrim is a buggy game on the ps3 overall I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a new headset.

First off I bought these when they were on sale and they were priced $75. These are one of the best purchases I have made for my Ps4. They are wireless and last through a long gaming session(8hrs) or more. The sound is great, for the sub$100 category I really don't think you can beat them. I have other headsets like Astro a50's that are better but also cost double. But I also have others like the hyperx cloud 2's which are great for PC gaming but aren't wireless and will run you the same price as these. Comfort is a big issue for me since I have a larger head but I was able to wear these for hours and they didn't hurt my head, the only drawback is the ear pieces are leather so they feel great but can get sweaty. The button placement on the headphones is great and easy to find without taking them off. Overall I would say for a sub $100 pair of headphones these are great and would recommend them to anyone looking for a wireless headset or something that isn't cheap but not really expensive either that will have great sound

Many reviews say these fit well even with glasses. That has not been my experience and is probably the only thing marring my experience. I really prefer to wear contacts when wearing. I like the fit for the first couple hours, but could not wear for a marathoning session, as the over-the-ear form factor makes my ears uncomfortably warm after a while. Sound quality is great, however, and the headset pairs really well with the dongle - i have not lost connection yet.

I been looking at a few headsets and tried a couple but nothing comes close to this headset. Great surround sound and has a great mic, probably too good. This headset works great with your handheld, phone or your PC. You won't be dissapointed with this, and did I mention it folds an has its own pouch? Its just awesome.

Eh, I'm not completely in love with these but for the price compared to more popular headset brands they're pretty good. Handle them with kid gloves!!!! They seem pretty fragile. They're fairly light though and I've worn mine for prolonged periods of time without any issues. Good quality sound and easy to set up. I'd suggest finding an old USB wall charger and keeping them charged this way so you're always ready to kill crota with his own sword >=)

Even tho I already had a headset I decided to purchase the Sony Gold headset for my PS4, and I'm glad I did! Overly happy about the sound quality, the battery life, and they rest comfortably on your head. Very lightweight. Also customizing the sound for shooter, horror, etc type games is an added plus. Recommend!

These are comfortable head phones with pretty good sound quality. I use them for PC gaming primarily - I have not hooked them up to the PS4 yet. I look a little dorky wearing them, but lucky for me nobody in my house cares what I look like anymore. Let's get fat!

These are the first headphones that I've bought and I think they are great. The sound is awesome and I love the fact that they are wireless. Another great feature is having all of the low profile controls on the headphones. Like I said this is my first pair of headphones, so I don't have any others to compare them to, but they are a great value for the price.

My stereo headset got stepped on and broken so needing to get a replacement i decided to upgrade. After looking at the really expensive headsets i decided to try the PlayStation Gold 7.1 headsets first and im glad i did. For a third of the price theses are great. In my first game of COD WW2 I could hear my enemy running toward me to my right so iIturned and there he was. For the price you can't go wrong.

I purchased the Sony Gold PS4 Headset for my 15 year old son. He loves them and he would rate them 5 stars easily! We read the reviews and like everyone else, took a chance on the product. We are very happy with our purchase and the product is great! Sound quality, ease to operate, sync and comfort all rock! Way to go Sony! Have other head sets but the Sony original is the best hands down for the PS4. It is far more durable than other headsets I have had and maintains better sound connection. There is nothing worse than being in the middle of a game and your head set cuts in and out so you can not tell where your enemy is coming from and you get lit up like a Christmas tree by enemy fire. Has a long charge as well so would definitely recommend.
