Not a top notch headset but the best quality for the price to get wireless and decent sound. The 7.1 audio and sound profiles from the app on ps4 is a nice tradeoff for lack of bass. The wireless range can be somewhat picky as i've had to use a usb extender to place the receiver in a closer position to the headset. Overall i'm happy with it as all other headsets i've tried have been way too much effort to mess with the settings to make it work. The ps gold headset is literally plug and go, with no more worry.

This headset is pretty good for the price. Of course you would probably get better sound quality out of a set of astro's, but if you don't feel like throwing down that much on a pair of headphones these are a great buy. They are extremely comfortable, the surround sound works fine, and the sound quality is superb for the price range.

Solid headset for the money. Great surround sound. Comfortable. And best of all, no wires when gaming on the PS4. Only downside would be having to charge them every other day but they seem to last a good 8-10 hours on a charge. And it has a programmable EQ with presets for many popular games. Another high quality product from Sony.

Let me start off by saying I purchased the Sony Pulse Elite headphones and they were..... different, Instead of actual bass there were motors on each side of your head that vibrated. I tried to get used to it but in the end they were terrible they would vibrate at the littlest thing so I took them back. The Sony Gold Edition headphones are much better and 50$ cheaper and with the free app for the ps4 you actually get bass instead of vibrating( you can adjust bass treble etc). The VSS is very good and clear you can actually hear people walking up to you when online, I haven't really had them turned up all the way but the setting that I have them at which I believe is four button pushes up from being turned all the way down is good enough for me. The only problem I have run into is they hurt my left ear which is weird but I thought I would mention that. They can also be used on any computer mac or pc I have already used them to play on my gaming computer you simply plug the usb dongle into the computer and make sure that you make the headphones the default audio device and your all set, these are very good versatile headphones. Defiantly a good buy.

Good headset and definitely worth it if you got it during Black Friday. I haven't tried to yet but I believe you can use these headsets for other applications and are not bound to only using the ps4. As many people know; using other headsets not designed for ps4 have severe compatibility issues. No issues with these and powered right on. I haven't had any ear aches or unpleasantness from the frame either.

WOW! These are outstanding to wear and hear. These are really a well made set of headphones. They are not difficult to adjust to what you like in that moment(movie, game, music...) and I can wear them for a long time without having to take them off to wipe the sweat. It clarity really helps in shooter games and gives great proximity to the game environment. These really impressed me and my wife... have phun!

The headset felt very heavy/high quality when i got it, however, after a while the ear muff on the non button side would detach. Then when the cheap cotton on the top of the headset began to become flat, I could truly feel how cheap the plastic at the top was. The headset does have great sound though, and it also boasts some great features when paired with the headset companion app. The app gives the headset the extra kick it needs to feel truly surround and crisp at the same time. Adjustable bass boosts and sound/chat volume balancing give the headset a personal feel to them after using them for a while. I talked to some of my online friends and they all say that the headset makes my voice sound a lot more clear. All in all, the playstation gold wireless headset is a great headset for those who want luxury features at a premium price point. You won't be blown out of your mind but at its price point you'll feel like you've gotten a steal. The headset is amazing and almost perfect for the casual gamer/mmo player. Not only is the headset reliable battery-wise, it also is comfortable allowing you to get the most out of your play time on your headset.

I looked at PS4 high end headphones in the $250 range but I don't need all the features and I do not plan to explode my ear drums. I have owned the past two Sony PS headphones and they lasted me a while. I am on my third generation now and I am happy with the feature set and easy integration to the Sony and other Bluetooth devices. No complaints. Longer battery play times than previous. Decent sound quality. I don't use the mic. Overall I am satisfied with these headphones.

For months after buying my PS3 I was using a great pair of corded Monster headphones, which I often would roll over the cables. I finally got the Sony set when they were on sale for $80, and they are amazing. Great sound, with gaming profiles tweaked just for certain games... no cords, and they are glasses friendly. Many others I have tried just are not comfortable if you wear glasses.

Crystal clear surround sound. Padding is comfortable and the charge lasts.

Picked these up for my PS4 and I'm incredibly happy with them. Great for solo gaming and online too (love the ability to adjust volume between game and chat sounds easily). I also use them with my PC when listening to music. Very comfortable and the battery lasts long enough. Definitely worth the money!

I got this because I like playing my games loud and my neighbors don't appreciate it so this was a great alternative for that. The headset is nice for the noise cancellation and the design is great too making it really comfortable to wear them for an extended period of time. I recommend buying this headset!

At first I thought I got a broken headset. I couldn't hear anyone talking and no one would respond too me, I changed the settings on the headphones and finally solved the mystery, now they are the best! I'd say they are even better than the Turtle Beach headsets. Great sound effects, WIRELESS!, two sound levels, one for added bass effects, very happy with this purchase.

These head phones are awesome! They're comfy. Can get a little warm while wearing for a long time. are great cause they bring a wire for other device use so you don't have to just use them on the console. Only down side is that I can't hear myself speak like with another headset I own. Oh well play some where where you don't need to whisper haha LOVE THESE HEADPHONES!

These are some really comfortable headphones that can actually be worn a while without too much hassle. Setup is simple and they actually sound good too. I still have to put it through its paces but so far everything looks good. The only thing that would make it better is if it did need the USB adapter and used with other devices wirelessly outside of the PC.

The Playstation Gold edition Headphones are worth the purchase, as the sound quality is top notch. The Earphones cup your ears comfortably, even during long gaming sessions, but the plastic frame itself feels like it will snap eventually, especially if you have a larger head. I warn you, however, that if you do purchase a set, I HEAVILY suggest purchasing a 10ft+ Micro USB charging cable, as the battery life on these are mediocre to say the least.

The Sony Gold Wireless Stereo Headset is the perfect headset for someone that just wants something to work. It being a Sony product it's guaranteed to work with the PS3, PS4, and Vita, which is exactly what I was looking for. The fact that it was cheaper than any of the nearest wireless competitors by a lot was simply a cherry on top. The audio quality is great, battery life is also good, the ear cups cover the entire ear, are very comfortable, easily adjustable for any size head, and setup and use is a breeze. My only complaint is that the charge cable is very short. It's maybe 6 inches long, so you don't get much length to play with, but that's a relatively minor issue.

These headphones are great for the price. $99 . virtual surround sound, 7.1 , you can download the headphone app from the PS store and change things up depending on what you want. they have a few pre sets you can download. you do need to connect to the ps4 to download pre sets. it took me a minute to figure that out. it's not in the instructions. Well worth the money.

The design of the headphones are nice and they fit confortably. The optional chord is a little short but works fine if your battery dies during game play and you need to connect it to your controller. The sound is great! Worth buying just for a FPS or survival horror game where the virtual surround sound brings the game to life. There's also a free DLC to customize the sound. The only issue I have is I wish the battery charge lasted longer.
